Spacious, bright, 2 bedroom, newly renovated apartment has a modern, clean, natural feeling. The bedrooms are roomy and overlook the garden below. This classic New York brownstone apt is a short walk to NYC subway through vibrant Hispanic neighborhood.
Bedroom 1: queen-size bed. Bedroom 2: double/full size bed. Clean sheets and towels provided. Bedrooms have backyard garden views and partial long-range views to the north. Rooms have vacant draws, closet with hangers provided. Roomy with no clutter! If you have allergies, no worries, the beds and pillows are encased in allergen protective covers, which are all-cotton. The fold-out couch means there's a third bed!
This humble NYC sanctuary is newly renovated with polished hardwood floors, exposed brick and all modern, stainless steel appliances. Guests can interact and relax in the open concept design. The common area's front windows have views onto the street below with glimpses of the adjacent Highbridge Park. The apartment is on the top (3rd) floor of an iconic New York brownstone building. If the windows are open, you will hear plenty of street activity, typical of Washington Heights such as music, loud conversations, vehicles and the tire and shipping businesses below. Such is life in New York.
There are never pets in the apartment.
Guests can freely use the kitchen, dining and living areas to cook, eat and relax. Guests can eat at the high table, work at the desk and relax on the leather couch, which is all located in the common area.
The TV is not for guest use. It's not connected to cable TV.
Guests can connect to the bluetooth speaker.
Other things to note
Parking: Guests can park for free on any of the streets. There is street cleaning once per week, which means you will have to move your car on certain days. As you can imagine, it's usually very difficult finding a park, however, eventually you'll find one. Alternatively, you can get paid parking at: Central Parking System, 554 W 174th Street.
