Nice apartment. About a ten minute walk to the subway. Good value. During the stay saw absolutely no foreigners in the area.

It's the first time we book rooms in Airbnb. So we don't have a lot of experience. sadly we missed a lot of great Shanghai home, but also very lucky to find this house. The landlord is very enthusiastic, waited for an hour and leaded us to check-in.And he enthusiastically provide us answer telephone, too. Room location near the left door, but we travel basic is a taxi. There is a convenience store to buy things by the side of the house. But I still want to say, there is a church on the edge, So it's a bit noisy on Sunday. House has a very large area, there are two rooms, a total of three beds, with a living room, a balcony, a kitchen and one bathroom. I suggest that the landlord can put more shading curtains for the bedroom. To sum up, this house is worth to be chosen.

+ : The location of this apartment is good, easy access to public transport ( 4-5 mins walk), restaurants and shops all around. The apartment is spacious, suitable for 3-4 people. The host was friendly and helpful. - : This apartment is very close to a main road, the window glass are really thin and single layered which means you can hear all the traffics, both day and night. You need to reconsider if you are a light sleeper. The hot shower wasn't always working, had to reset the water boiler time to time, sometimes even had to do it during shower. The apartment wasn't look like properly cleaned, dusty floor and hairs in bathroom floor and sink. The laundry machine can wash but the spinning function wasn't working. Overal I was disappointed after reading all the positive reviews.

This home was amazing guys. Its really close to Yu garden and the Bund isn't really far by taxi. The place itself was very ideal for us students as there were 2 women and 1 man on the trip so we had separate bedrooms with bathrooms closer to the women's bedroom. Just perfect. Also, it had everything we needed. There are small places where he can improve, for example the WiFi didn't work in the second bedroom at all and the water tap for the shower was a bit hard to control. But these things are easily overlooked when you look at how much has been arranged for us. Since we were students our budget was low, so Mark was kind enough to reduce the price significantly just for us!!! Also our flight departure time was much later than our check out time so Mark helped us shift our baggage temporarily to another flat! I highly recommend that you speak to Mark in case you want a place to live in Shanghai because he's highly accomodating. Will definetly talk to Mark if we ever come to Shanghai again

Hey, I'm Mark

Glad you are interested in my apartment among all options. I’m a BNB super lover too in my personal trip, I make new friends in my journey and live as natives in the town.

My friends and I arrange long term road trips every year. Tibet and Xinjiang are my favorite destinations, and I’d love to share my trips and tips if you are also interested in these topics.

I've been living in SH for more than 15 years, hope you will find me helpful during your stay with the city.
