Fabulous town house in medieval town in one of France's best wine regions, close to Toulouse (TLS) and the Danish queen's castle in Cayx, just around the corner.

The 300 km view from the terrace and great narrow cobblestone streets on the other side. The timbre frame apartment is not only beautiful and charming, but it also provides a perfect base for exploring all the fantastic sites the Pyrénées midi has to offer.

The city offers supermarket, bar, restaurants, marketplace & pool.

The view from the back porch is amazing, one of the best countryside views I've ever seen. Having a great deck to sit on to enjoy it is a nice perk. The street where the apartment is located is also amazing. The pictures don't really do the place justice. We highly recommend it for a peaceful get away. Also, Klaus was very responsive any time we had a questions. Thanks again!

Nice, scenic Medieval town. Good central location, walking distance to cafes and restaurants, groceries, pharmacy. Short drive to public swimming pool. Nice views from balcony. Great music system

Klaus' house has tremendous potential for the right guests. It is an architectural gem in a town that is itself an architectural gem. The view from the balcony is lovely, and there was a nice bottle of local wine awaiting us. Thanks to Klaus for this nice gesture. That said, there were a few inaccuracies in the listing that we conveyed to Klaus. There is no parking on the actual premises--parking is in a public lot around the corner from the house. That was an issue for us because we have kids and gear, and we were yelled at by a neighbor for idling in front of the house to buckle the kids in and pack the car. If you have no kids and are traveling light this wouldn't be an issue, I think. Also note that the public pool opens July 1st--I don't know when it closes--so if you arrive in June you will be out of luck. We did find a place to swim called the Green Lake, Le Lac Vert, located about 45 mins north. They have a playground and an outdoor bar/cafe that is filled with locals. On a separate note, the beds are IKEA-style slat platform beds with relatively thin mattresses. Adult guests who, like us, are in middle age, might find them uncomfortable.

Response from Klaus:
Hi Elizabeth, we have parked in front of the house for the last 25 years without any problems - we apologize for our neighbours behaviour. Beds and mattresses will be replaced soon.

Living next door to Klaus's gîte, it was the obvious choice when facing an emergency situtation at our place and needed to find a bed for a few days. Klaus has been extremely friendly and helpful (esp when dealing with the issue of getting us the keys to his house). The house is charming with a great terrace enjoying magnificent views, 3 large bedrooms and an extra area for kids to sleep in. It is very quiet at night. As most houses in that specific area of the village, there are stairs up and down the house. A good location to discover the beautiful region around, from a pretty village with shops, bars and even a restaurant ! Thanks Klaus for your hospitality.

This place is absolutely amazing if you are looking for an authentic stay in a super cozy medieval town without all the crowds. Fabulous views over fields to one side, and great views into narrow cobblestone streets on the other side. The timbre frame apartment is not only beautiful and charming, but it also provides a perfect base for exploring all the fantastic sites the Pyrénées midi has to offer. Thanks to the host for making it such an enjoyable experience. We will certainly come back.

Nous avons passé un séjour en famille formidable... la maison est très agreable, idéalement situee au centre du village et avec une vue grandiose sur la terrasse. Klaus est un hôte extremement délicat et très arrangeant.. nous reviendrons sans aucun doute.
