Interaction with guests
Both my husband and myself are both very busy hosts and don't get to meet all of our guests especially overnight stays, but in saying that I am always contactable during your stay. I do appreciate that majority of guests like their privacy, and both myself and my husband both work and enjoy a bit of travelling ourselves. We do have someone on call at all times to assist you if required when we are away. As I have lived in Sussex Inlet for over 20 yrs, I do have a lot of knowledge of the area. My husband is a keen fisherman and surfer, so he is always happy to assist if required.
Sussex Inlet is just the perfect place for all water activities. If you have access to a boat then the best spot for swimming is the entrance into the ocean. Shelly's is within walking distance to the Bowling club, which has a lovely Chinese restaurant. Also our favourite place is Pelican Shores which is on the water and within walking distance just near Seacrest Caravan Park. Across the canal is the Lions Park which has a large boatramp and childrens playground.
The magnificent Jervis Bay and Huskisson are only a 35 min drive. There are a few lovely little cafes in the main street, but our favourite is called Pelican Shores which is located on the water near
Seacrest caravan Park, which is within walking distance it is also BYO.
There is a shopping bus that runs to Nowra daily, all clubs have courtesy buses that will pick you up from the door, also a local taxi service.
I do expect guests to leave Shelly's as they found it. Shelly's is not a party house.
Unfortunately we do not allow pets. Also we do insist that smoking only be done outdoors.
Im very outgoing, enjoy spending time with my grandchildren. I enjoy most types of music and love going to outdoor concerts.
I hope everyone who stays at Shellys enjoys themselves and can relax and unwind in our beautiful little town and what it has to offer.
My life motto is WHAT DOESN'T KILL YOU MAKES YOU STRONGER !
