The structure has 3 double rooms, part of the ancient casale, just restructured with charme. Breakfast in the panoramic "loggia" or in the fireplace dining room. Panoramic view over Lucca hills; walks in the 10 acres olive-yard.
Centone is one of the oldest and beautiful "casale" in Matraia; it seems to be there since XIV century and it became first a recovery center for monks, later it was the olive-yard of the Guinigi family, who owned the whole area and lived in their Villa, just below the Centone. The yard has been cultivated for long time with olive trees, vineyard, wheat, walnut and other fruit trees, some still present in the property.
In the house there are still some "secret" hidden rooms and we have discovered ancient vestiges...
Building restructuring has been completed in January 2016.
From the parking, the stone stairs brings to the panoramic loggia where breakfast are served in the warm season. From here you enter the lobby with antique furniture and the fireplace dining room , where breakfast is served when the weather is colder. The three double bedrooms have separate access and bathroom with shower.
