1 king bed
We've stayed at Villa Marani for two weeks, spending a lot of time at the villa itself and traveling around at the weekends. We've been in a lot of really nice places in Italy, but I should say this one was definitely one of the best we've ever visited! The apartment is completely independent and very big, located on the second floor, with a large bedroom, separate dining room and a very spacious and light bathroom. Furniture is just amazing, as it's all antique and kept in a great condition, and bed linens was of a very high quality. Dining room has a kitchen corner, with all necessary things inside: electric and microwave ovens, dishes, pans and pots, a lot of glasses and even a moka, a juicer and a thing for drying greens. The apartment is the corner one, with one window looking on the vineyard (the view is fascinating!), and others on the forest outside. Ground flour is a common area for guests, with a kitchen and dining room, but we didn't use it as there was no need in it. The territory is just huge, with a lot of different places organized for the guests. There is a gazebo full of flowers just outside of the house, a big table for dining (or working) close to it, another zone close to the vineyard with nice deck-chairs, and all the rest for walking and watching. Nice view to the town underneath the hill. Birds singing all the day even if it's raining, and incredible peace and quite all around. Signora Leopoldina and her husband were incredibly attentive, gentle and nice, giving us anything we would ask and being always worried for our convenience. As they don't consider renting the apartments as their main business, attitude toward guests is very personal and loving. Also, there are usually very few guests, and we felt like all the villa was at our disposal almost all the time. The Euganean hills where the villa is situated is a huge natural park. It's one of the greenest place I have ever seen in Italy, surrounded by beautiful hills, with a lot of fields, flowers, forests, parks, villas and private houses. There is 70km bike path all around the hills, mostly in the pure nature, and it's accessible by foot from the villa. I usually find something to criticize even in very nice places, but this time I have really nothing to complain about, as everything was perfect!
