Description

The space

Bright and serene bedroom with comfy Queen sized bed in a large two bedroom apartment to share with an arts/community/yoga oriented vegan filmmaker and teacher.

Ideal location for up to 2 people in the heart of Montreal's enjoyable and artsy Mile End (the most artistic postal code in Canada).
It is a beautiful third floor apartment with a lovely brick walled kitchen, amazing amounts of light, breeze, hardwood floors, high ceilings, high speed WiFi Internet, smart TV with Netflix, nice furniture and original Turkish carpets. Two balconies make the place especially inviting. Of course, you are more than welcome to make yourself at home in all the house. The fully equipped kitchen is at your disposal.

Close to everything charming & necessary-- , fantastic cafés, great restaurants, fabulous groceries, the Mont-Royal mountain, parks, frequent buses and Métro Laurier is close by (15 mins walk). The downtown core is also very close. A 10 minutes bus ride or a 30 minutes walk to Métro Place des Arts. There is a Bixi bike station one the corner.

Overall it's a quiet and delightful space to be in. A great spot from which to explore Montreal's many charms.

Nice new linen and towels are provided.

As for myself, I love to meet new people & share ideas but also appreciate silence and privacy. It will be my pleasure to help you orient yourself in Montreal during you stay in this great home.

Guest access

A great apartment and all it's charm and facilities.

Interaction with guests

It will be my pleasure to engage with you, chat and help you have the best time in Montreal.

The neighbourhood

Fantastic! Close to everything charming & necessary-- fantastic cafés, great restaurants, good groceries, the mountain, buses and Métro Laurier is a 15 minute walk. Also easy access to the downtown core.

Getting around

Buses (80, 51,55), Laurier subway, Bixi station on the corner

Other things to note

As in any trendy, central neighborhood in a big city, free parking can be tricky to find. Ideally if driving into the city, it's a good idea to arrive before 5pm to find a free spot in this area. About 1/3 of most streets in this area are available for free for non-resident parking.
