Shorley Wall is a 3-bed cottage by the sea, it has a split level patio and off street parking. It is suitable for a MAXIMUM of 4 adults and two children. It has been thoughtfully fitted out with everything you might need for your stay by the sea.

Please note that the twin room has two small single beds, suitable for children up to the age of 16.

The space

Relax in the comfortable Shorley Wall, feel comfortable in this lovely home from home. Sink in the leather sofas, watch Sky Plus TV and connect to free WiFi. Prepare a meal in the fully fitted kitchen and sit down with your family or friends in the sunny conservatory or in the split level patio on warmer days. Sink into bed between crisp white sheets in your tastefully decorated bedroom. With brand new combi-boiler enjoy continuous hot water. Park your car on the drive in front of the house and never worry about parking fees in town. Stone Bay and Viking Bay are a five minute walk away as is the town.

Guest access

Guest will have access to all parts of the house, no restrictions.

Interaction with guests

I live a couple of streets away so am available at any time, you will have my mobile number, my landline and my email address to contact me whenever you need to. I will meet you at the agreed time at the property to let you in and handover the keys.

Please take care of our house and leave it in the same condition as you find it.
The accommodation is suitable for maximum of 4 adults and 2 children, a king size bedroom, a double bedroom and a twin with two children’s beds, children staying in the twin room must not be older than 16 years of age.
If there are less than 6 persons staying, only the required beds will be made up as the accommodation is priced in relation to the number of guests and not as the entire three bedrooms, i.e. the basic cost is for four persons/two bedrooms, for five or six guests the price increases by £5 per night per person to include the third bedroom.

If you allow any other person/s to stay at Shorley Wall without informing the owner you will be deemed as in breach of your Booking Contract. There will be an additional cost which will be taken out of the damages deposit and you will not be accepted as a guest on any future occasion.
You can arrive at your accommodation after 15:00 hours on the Arrival Date of your holiday and you must leave by 10:00 hours on the Departure Date. Change over between guests takes a full 5 hours.

If your arrival will be delayed, you must contact the person whose details are given on our booking confirmation so that alternative arrangements can be made. If you fail to do so you may not be able to gain access to the Property. If you fail to arrive by midday on the day after the Arrival Date and you do not advise the contact of your anticipated late arrival we may treat the booking as having been cancelled by you.

If you wish for an early arrival you can ask the owner but they are under no obligation to provide this.

If you require a late check-out, this must be made by arrangement with the owner at least one week before arrival. If approved you should receive written confirmation agreeing revised departure time and any additional charges.

The owner can charge up to £25 per hour or part hour for late checkout without prior approval.
You agree to keep and leave the Property and the furnishings, kitchen equipment, crockery, glasses, bedding and towels clean and in good condition. Please report any breakages as soon as possible.

You agree not to cause any damage to the walls, doors or windows of the Property nor to do anything that may be reasonably considered to cause a nuisance or annoyance to us or to any other occupier of adjoining or neighbouring properties.

You agree to take all necessary steps to safeguard your personal property. No liability to you is accepted in respect of damage to or loss of such property, except where the damage or loss is caused by our negligence.

You agree to ensure that each member of your party is covered by comprehensive travel insurance (including cancellation, flight delays, loss and damage to baggage and other property) and health insurance (including evacuation and repatriation coverage).

You cannot allow more people to stay in the Property than expressly authorised, nor can you significantly change the makeup of the party during your stay in the Property, nor can you take your pet into the Property unless it has been arranged in advance and it is shown on your confirmation. If you do so, we can refuse to hand over the Property to you, or can require you to leave it. We will treat any of these circumstances as a cancellation of the booking by you.

You agree to allow us or any representative of ours access at any reasonable time during your stay for the purpose of essential repairs.

Gina’s house is in a great location to explore Broadstairs and the surrounding coast and the off road parking is an added bonus. The house offers all amenities that you would want and was very comfortable.

We had a fantastic weekend in Gina's accommodation. The house is perfect in terms of size, great rooms, lovely outside space and very clean with good parking! It's location is also fantastic with only a few minute walk to the beach and restaurants/ bars etc. It made our stay with 2 young children extremely easy and convenient! Gina is also great ( and lovely) - her comms before hand were quick and it was a great help having a cot and high chair put up for our arrival. She was also very accommodating in some last minute changes to our group size which I was very grateful for. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and recommend to others . Gina also know everything about broadstairs so we were able to get some good recommendations

We just made our first visit to Broadstairs and stayed at Shorely Wall. We loved both! The house is so clean and welcoming, with lots of light and a nice outside area. We found the beds to be comfortable and the kitchen had everything our family of six needed. We even found tea, milk and some biscuits provided, which was a nice touch. The location is great- we travelled by train from London than explored the area by foot. Lots of nice restaurants and walking paths (and beaches!) are easily reached from the cottage.

We stayed at Gina's place for the weekend whilst visiting Broadstairs for a wedding. It was great to find somewhere with two double bedrooms and so close to the beach/wedding venue. Lovely little place and would definitely recommend others to stay there. Gina was a really helpful host, providing us with everything in the lead up to the stay and whilst there.
