I am a designer from NYC, living in Bali since 1997. Suffice to say, I know Bali and its environs pretty well. Having grown up in NY, I am used to interacting with people from all walks of life and backgrounds. The expat scene is quite diverse and vibrant in Bali.
I have been a jewelry designer for a verrry long time and my office is at home. I live quietly in a serene and beautiful environment, but I do know a lot of people here and occasionally like to go out and kick up my heels.
I have an extra room which I am happy to share with visitors and the entire home whilst traveling. My house was built in 2013 and designed by Diastana Architects. The main building is a 120+ year-old structure from Java, and the rest of the house is modern.
Some of the best surfing in the world is up the road. I like to walk my dogs to the beach or practise yoga at the beautiful Desa Seni Resort, The Practise or the Samadi.
I love traveling and have been all around SE Asia, parts of EU and USA. On my short list is Morocco, Turkey, Brazil, Egypt, Irian Jaya.... it goes on.
If you have not been to Bali before, I am happy to help you figure it all out.
