The space
The house is a 4 bedroom 100 year old Dutch Colonial Villa, set amidst a 10 acre estate of coconut and paddy. Villa is suitable for up to 6 to 8 guests/Family. It is a quiet, tranquil haven for relaxation - be it doing Yoga, Meditation, Book writing or simple Family enjoyment. Where you’ll be

Matara, Southern Province, Sri Lanka

The Villa is set in a quiet rural village in Southern Sri Lanka.

It is located within easily commutable distance to Mirissa and Weligama, popular for their pristine sandy beaches. Whale and dolphin watching in Mirissa is also one of the most exciting water activities you can do in Sri Lanka during your holiday. Mirissa is the best place to start your whale and dolphin watching tour in Sri Lanka.

The famous Galle town with its historical Dutch fort is 45 mins away.

There are several historic temples nearby, such as "Kothpaha Vehera" and Welihinda temple, latter with murals that are over 400 years old.

A popular local snake farm (URL HIDDEN) which runs a successful conservation programme preserving all native species of venomous & non-venomous snakes is 15 mins from the estate

A tea estate/factory where southern tea is produced is 30 mins away.

Local Transport for all these activities can be arranged at local rates.
