About this listing
Welcome to Hot Tub Heaven...Sara and I are both self employed creative people, Sara is a fashion designer who also has the most angelic voice while I have a design/build woodworking studio just down the street.
I feel like we have a very warm and comfortable space that one can certainly make themselves at home in. For clarity, we are offering one private room with one queen size bed. You have a private entrance to that room off the back deck and steps away from the hot tub. All other areas of the property are shared with Sara and myself.
You're welcome to camp out any where around the house.. the sun room is great for morning coffee and browsing all your social media outlets, or in the back yard watching the grass grow..
Interaction with guests
Always! .. unless you just want to be left alone, Communication is key, we just want you to enjoy our home and feel comfortable and welcome. And always available for suggestions on where to go grab a bite, site see or do some some shopping...
Your best public transportation route to HotTub Heaven is the Blue line train to Western Avenue stop. Then take the Western Avenue bus (#49) south to Iowa Street, Walk half a block west on Iowa...and your home.
The best route to the city center would be hoping on the Chicago Avenue bus (#66) heading east...and it will end off right in front of the Museum of Modern Art, the Lake and surrounding attractions.
Other things to note
When you're here just making yourself at home is the most important thing.
Also worth noting is although we accept travelers with pets we do not have pets ourselves...we just like animals.
We just ask that you be respectful in our home, we are both very easy going and will go out of our way to accommodate you during your stay...
smoking outside only..
Young wild and free... I've been running my own design build studio for the past nine years in Chicago which focuses on primarliy restaurant and bar design. I also have decent amount of residential clients where I can use my more refined furniture building background to create heirloom pieces. Prior to and during owning my own business I was a sushi chef working full time behind the sushi bar for twelve years...building beautiful food for people. I love people and always up for meeting new friends. Consider myself able to adjust well to most encounters, spent my childhood growing up in Texas, Colorado, New Jersey, Virginia and now have been in Chicago for 15 years. Cheers!
