The recent reviews are accurate. The paper is coming off the walls, we didn't use the bathroom because it was grimy and the furniture is well worn. There's no way it should sleep more than 8. It's quiet, though, and Mo was very responsive. Overall not worth the money but we had little choice. 3 out of 10.
DO NOT STAY. This house is of unacceptable living standards and photos incorrectly show the house. The wallpaper is ripped off the wall, there were hairs and crumbs all over the house and the furniture was filthy. The oven is broken and comes from the wall when in use and the beds are so close that they all touch. The mattresses were extremely uncomfortable and the rooms were so crammed that the doors could not fully open. We appreciate some small issues, however, we paid around £1400 for 3 nights. The quality of this property seriously lacks from the price paid. The greatest issue is that some pictures shown in the listing falsely advertise the property. It shows a photo of the incorrect living room, showing a large corner sofa- which was in fact old fashioned, dirty sofas. Secondly, a photo of the neighbours garden has been used. This is false advertisement and the garden we intact had was covered with weeds and litter was everywhere. Finally, the listing states it can sleep 12 people. The property actually only sleeps 10 people with beds. There was a retractable bed, in a room that had no space to erect it. The 12th bed was a camp bed that was in the lounge which was weak and not set up. We feel that the living standards of this property are unacceptable and that people do not deserve to pay a significant amount of money to be presented with something that is of poor quality and has been falsely advertised.
Andrew's comments below are spot on. The house is in a good location, next to a fantastic park, but was filthy and looked nothing like it does on the listing. The wallpaper was peeling off the walls, there was tobacco and spilled drinks on the floor, mould in the fridge and a big old tray of grease in the oven. The picture of the back garden is next door's garden. There was random bits of building rubble in the garden, a door off it's hinges in the kitchen, room, and the beds were unclean, with body hair - clearly having been slept in and not changed. No TVs as in the picture, only an old one that didn't work. Several beds were camp beds and uncomfy, some of our party complained of bites. Minimum you expect from a rental would it to be cleaned. Oh and the mouldy bread in the sitting room was still there!
