♦ ♦BEDROOMS♦ ♦
Each bedroom has a luxury Queen sized bed with luxury bedding, and either black out blinds or curtains. We provide hangers and storage space for your clothes in each room, along with robes for your use during your stay! If you take one with on your departure, we will charge $40 to cover the cost of the robe.

Each bedroom also has an air conditioning unit in the summer, we recommend leaving the units on during the daytime with the bedroom doors open to cool the rest of the home.

♦ ♦BATHROOMS♦ ♦
The full bath is on the main story and is freshly renovated from head to toe. The shower head is great for tall folks, and the cast iron tub is great for baths. Towel service and toiletries are complimentary for our guests.

The half bath is on the second story and is so tiny you can wash your hands while on the toilet, but hey, doesn’t the gold leaf ceiling and fun wallpaper make up for that?

♦ ♦KITCHEN♦ ♦
Our kitchen is fully stocked with cooking supplies. We have pots, pans, cooking utensils, measuring spoons, plates, cups, mugs, wine glasses, big mixing bowls, Tupperware, coffee grinder, toaster, French press, teapot, cutting boards, knives, plastic cups, bowls and plates for kids or outside use, etc. My personal favorite appliance is the Nespresso machine. Pods will be provided, as well as tea! (Sugar and creamer not provided).

♦ ♦LIVING ROOM♦ ♦
We have a comfy seating area, lots of board games, vinyl records and a record player, and a TV that can connect to all your favorite streaming services. There’s also an Xbox 360 with a bunch of games in the media cabinet. We also have an amazon Alexa in the living room media cabinet. She is connected to the home’s smart thermostat and the lamp in the living room. You can turn on the light by saying “Alexa, turn on my light.” To adjust the temperature, say a command like “Alexa, turn the thermostat up to 72 degrees.” Also feel free to play music on the Alexa.

If you are uncomfortable with the Alexa, let us know and we can disable the device for your stay!

♦ ♦GARAGE♦ ♦
The main garage level leads out to the garden! On the shelving you will find outdoor blankets and additional outdoor chairs for you to use around the campfire. There is also a washer and dryer available for you to use.

Cameras:
We do have one Simpli Safe outside doorbell camera that we will use to check on the property if the alarm is triggered as it is in the middle of the city. There are no other cameras on property.

Guest access
Everything except part of the garage. We use that to store supplies for the airbnb.

Other things to note
Location:
Our property is located on a busy street in Downtown Eugene. For those traveling to Oregon from out of state, we do have a high unhoused population downtown and in the surrounding areas. Something to keep in mind as you book!

Checkout: We try and keep our checkout checklist short and sweet. Nobody wants to clean on vacation!

Just take out the trash, start the dishwasher if you used any dishes, and pile used towels in the laundry room.

Neighbourhood highlights

Howdy House is conveniently located for getting around Eugene! We're on a busy, main street close to some really fun downtown restaurants and breweries. You could take a short drive or hop on a bus to University of Oregon, take a 10 minute drive to Hayward Field, 11 minute drive to Autzen Stadium or only a 20 minute drive out so wineries like Sweet Cheeks, Silvan Ridge, and King Estate.

For those traveling to Oregon from out of state, keep in mind that Eugene does have a high unhoused population. It has not been an issue during our time as hosts and also Eugene residents. Our property is very safe and the neighbors by Howdy House are all lovely, but it's something to keep in mind as you book!
