About this listing

A stunning two bedroom flat situated 20 minutes from central London. Stoke Newington, or "Stokie" as it's affectionately known by locals, is one of the coolest parts of the city. Perfect accommodation for 4-5 people & can accommodate 6 at a squeeze.

The space

A stunning two bedroom flat located a stone’s throw from Stoke Newington overground station and 20 – 25 minutes from central London. This property is available at a bargain price as it is new to
It is newly refurbished throughout with all the conveniences you could want in a home away from home. These include hi speed WiFi, fully equipped kitchen, spa style bathroom, two good sized double bedrooms and a cozy living room with convertible futon. Stylishly decorated throughout the property is perfect for 4 and at a squeeze can accommodate up to 6. A touch of luxury is added by the linen and towels which are all 100% finest Egyptian cotton.

“Stokie” as it is affectionately known by locals, is one of the coolest parts of London. There’s an abundance of excellent restaurants, pubs, parks, and live music venues within walking distance. The overground, being the new underground, provides superb transport. A cheaper (though slightly slower) option, which enables you to observe the city as opposed to what’s beneath it, is the 73 bus. The 73 runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, leaving from right outside the flat going through Islington, Kings Cross, Euston, Centre Point, Oxford Circus, Trafalgar Square, Westminster (Houses of Parliament), finishing at Victoria (Buckingham Palace).

Below are the approximate times it would take you to travel from the flat to London’s top tourist attractions.

Covent Garden 30 minutes
Leicester Square 30 minutes
Houses of Parliament 30 minutes
St Pauls 30 minutes
Trafalgar Square 30 minutes
The National Gallery 30 minutes
Regents Park 35 minutes
Hyde Park 35 minutes
Oxford Street 35 minutes
The Barbican 35 minutes
Buckingham Palace 40 minutes
The Millennium Eye 35 minutes
The National History Museum 45 minutes
Basically you’re in a happening area 30-40 minutes from anything most tourists would want to do.

Kings Cross Station with its train, Euro Star and underground lines is 30 minutes away. Stansted airport is less than an hour away. Gatwick and Heathrow an hour and a half.

Some of London’s most interesting parks are just around the corner. Stoke Newington Common is a space rich in history: not least the archaeological discovery of stone age settlement. Clissold Park, one of Hackney's best loved traditional parks, was opened in 1889 and contains Clissold House, a stunning Grade II* listed building.

As your host I aim to share my local knowledge of both Stoke Newington and London. My aim is to build a reputation through providing immaculate accommodation and an efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable hosting service.

Hi, I'm a friendly guy from the North East of England (Chester-le-Street) who has lived in London for 14 years.

I am currently out of the country therefore my colleague Nino is leading on managing the day to day running of the property.

If you've any questions, or just need a bit of local knowledge, we'll be happy to help :-)
