The entire space is yours. It's in a humble building. It's right by the train. The studio is small, sweet, and simple. The amenities include all the basics (towels, coffee, soap, etc.). This studio is perfect for someone who just needs a place to sleep, work and eat. After that, you're best setting off into the streets for fun. A visiting guest or two is certainly fine, but this is not a place built to host groups of people for parties.

I'M TRAVELING MOST OF THE NEXT COUPLE OF MONTHS - THE APARTMENT IS PRETTY AVAILABLE.

Additional days not listed and are flexible on a case-by-case basis.

Guest access

You'll have the studio to yourself.

I also have friends that live in the apartments next door - they're more than available to field NYC, neighborhood, or apt related questions.

Interaction with guests

Friends live in the next-door apartments. They can answer any questions. But besides that, you're on your own.

Che was very friendly and helpful. The room was just as described, simple yet practical. Easy to get to the subway station, close to shops etc. Overall very happy! Thank you Che

The location is comfortable. The 145th Street Subway station is literally right around the corner and the A and C trains will take you up and down New York. If you need items from a local pharmacy, there's a 'Duane Reade (by Walgreens)' conveniently around the corner as well. There's a Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts about a block away, too. I wanted iHop one morning, and it was also like a train stop away. So the area has a lot to offer. The neighborhood does look a little interesting, or skeptical at first, but after a day or two, you'll be fine. It's probably just the nerves of being in a new city, new place, new town. I remember my first night -- I decided to head to Times Square, I must've came back at like at 3-4AM and I had no issues on my walk home.. although I do recommend always being alert of your surroundings OF COURSE. The room is as described and looks like the pics. A good place to wash and sleep, can't really go in depth about that. The AC was perfect. I didn't use the unit's light (behind the refrigerator), I used the lightbulb/lamp next to the bed instead. There wasn't any noise throughout the night and the residents in the building were friendly. Che's friend, Alejandro, provided me the keys to the unit without a problem (I arrived late due to a late flight), but they worked around my schedule. Thanks, guys!

Che was awsome! We stayed for four nights, and really enjoyed our stay there. Even though we couldnt meet him, he made arrangements for his friend to come check us up and meet us to come in to the house. We missed a flight to new york and he even offered to work out the payments again! The location was awesome! It was about 25 minutes away from Times Square, and the buses and subway was literally a corner away. The buses and the subway went to al the central areas, and the pizza and pasta place across the street was honestly the best I ever had! We would definitely stay here again, if we come to ny! Thanks Che! Hope you can make it to Seoul one day :)

My name's Che. I'm a New Yorker. I'm a grad-school student at Columbia University. My focus is environmental analytics. I've backpacked through Southern Africa, Southeastern Asia, and bits of Europe, plus I've had plenty roommates in NYC; so, i think i'm adept at the co-habitation game.

For fun - I practice yoga, I play volleyball and I love to go out dancing. I consider endless mimosa brunches a past-time not just meal-time. In fact, anything Sunday-funday is def in my book.

As a host - I'll be gone! I'm renting my studio apartment from time to time. The entire space is yours. It's in a humble building in Hamilton Grange Harlem. It's right by the train. The studio is small, sweet, and simple. The amenities include all the basics (towels, coffee, soap, etc.). This studio is perfect for someone who just needs a place to sleep or have that morning cup of coffee in peace. A visiting guest or two is certainly fine, but this is not a place built to host groups of people for parties.

As a guest - i'm pretty low key. I don't spend much time inside my hotel or hostel and i'm not out of control while i'm there. I am likely to get in around 2am, but i'm a well versed in the art of don't-make-a-fucking-sound. I also love coffee.
