Plenty of room for six. Good parking off street. Well stocked kitchen for in house dining. Central to the area.

Margene was very friendly and responded very quickly to any questions. The house was fairly as described. It helped to have fans in the room as we were there during a very hot week. Although we didn't really eat at the house some condiments were supplied that would be very helpful for someone staying a short time. A very convenient location in a nice neighbourhood.

While this is an older house in an older neighborhood, it was clean and fairly spacious. The kitchen had most things you would expect in a kitchen. We had 10 people stay there comfortably. Just had to take turns with the 1 bathroom. We enjoyed our stay.

This was a lovely house in a great, old- fashioned neighborhood. There was plenty of room in the house for our large group, with nearby parks and a yard that the kids enjoyed. Margene was quick to answer any questions and we found everything as she had promised. It felt like a home away from home, and if we ever stay in the area again, we're hoping to stay here.

Margene contacted us several days before our scheduled visit, with all the details we needed. The home was in a good location for us. We used it as a base for day trips to Nauvoo, Carthage and Quincy. The home is being restored, and is very comfortable. Once the restoration is complete, it will be a very beautiful home! The kitchen was fully stocked, with newer appliances and all the linens, utensils, cleaning supplies we needed. The bedrooms were clean and the master bedroom was spacious and nicely decorated. Having a washer and dryer in the home was wonderful, and saved us time, since we were there for nearly a week, and were able to do laundry one night, after a full day. We would definitely stay in this home again, and recommend it highly!

Margene was great to work with! Her home in Keokuk was such a great place! What a neat house to stay at as we visited Nauvoo. It was spacious and perfect for our family! Our kids didn't want to leave. I will definitely stay there again on my next visit to Nauvoo.

We, a family of 7, stayed here with the purpose of making day trips to Nauvoo. The location was perfect for this. Margene made us feel welcome through her email and text communications. Although the neighborhood's home exteriors of this street are run down, I felt safe. Only some 200 yards from this home is one of the nicest old-homes-style street, with a nice park, I've ever seen. It was the perfect place for a fair price for our family.

I love quilting, gardening, fishing, camping, preserving foods. I speak a little Russian and also sign ASL. My husband Mike and I raised a large family and are now enjoying our grandchildren. I could live with just about anything but I really love fresh fruits and veggies and would not want to go without!
