Paradox Views overlooks Lake Eildon, is located 5km around the lake from Bonnie Doon and 25km from Mansfield.
This absolutely delightful self-contained house is perched high on a ridge and surrounded by 63 acres of well-established trees and an abundance of natural wildlife. Paradox Views offers complete privacy and is totally secluded with no neighbours looking in.
Grab your personal belongings, food and drinks and head for the Victoria's High Country overlooking the stunning scenery and Lake Eildon views. Sit back, relax and enjoy the spectacular sights constantly changing as the sun rises and sets over the lake and take in the views of Mt Buller and Mt Stirling in the distance.
Paradox Views sleeps up to 10 guests (3 queen beds, 2 single bunk beds in one of the large bedrooms and a double fold out couch in the library).
Brand new glossy kitchen with Omega 850cm gas hot plates and Westinghouse stainless steel 60cm gas under bench wall oven, full size 410ltr refrigerator, microwave, everyday condiments are all supplied as well as an outdoor BBQ.
Quality beds, linen and towels are all supplied. Television, DVD player and stereo are yours to enjoy so bring your favourite movies and music.
Paradox Views supports green energy and uses solar power (backed up by a generator) for electricity, a wood fire for heating (firewood supplied) and ceiling fans for cooling. There is extensive outdoor undercover decking with easy access, an outdoor campfire and is pet friendly.
Please note that the 1km driveway is a dirt road that is steep in places.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The owners will make every effort to ensure the property is available as booked. However the owners reserve the right to make alterations to bookings due to unforeseen circumstances.
To maintain a good standard for our guests we require certain conditions to be complied with. We appreciate most will respect our property but the occasional abuse requires that we state the following conditions. Damage, breakages, theft and loss, excessive cleaning, etc. are the guests responsibility during their stay and the bond will serve to cover the costs incurred. If the costs exceed the bond, this will be at the guests expense. In the event where the extra fees are not settled within 7 days of invoice, Paradox Views will pass on to the guests all legal costs and other associated expenses related to the collection of the outstanding debt.
Number of Guests should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice or subsequently agreed in writing or email. Fees will apply for excess guests not agreed with the owners in advance. This applies for extra guests that wish to visit during the day as well as extra guests that stay overnight. In the event where the extra fees are not settled within 7 days of invoice, Paradox Views will pass on to the guests all legal costs and other associated expenses related to the collection of the outstanding debt.
Charges for renting the property are partly based on the number of guests booked to stay overnight. We therefore ask that the use of the bedrooms (beds, linen and towels) reflects the number of guests that are in your booking. Fees will apply for the use of extra bedrooms.
Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited. The price charged is for domestic use only and not commercial. Accordingly this rate does not allow for the extra wear associated with functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc. Use contrary to this may result in additional payments. In the event where the extra fees are not settled within 7 days of invoice, Paradox Views will pass on to the guests all legal costs and other associated expenses related to the collection of the outstanding debt.
Arrival - the property will be available for you to check in from 14:00 onwards. Arrangements to hand over the keys to the property will be confirmed during the week prior to your stay.
Departure - the property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival. Check-out time is 10:00 by the latest (unless specific arrangements have been made prior in writing with the owner), to allow time to prepare the property for the next guests.
Disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination of rental.
Pets are not allowed (unless specific arrangements have been made in writing with the owner). If approved, please be aware that the property is not fenced and that you will not be able to leave your pet to roam freely.
Heating is with a slow combustion fireplace which quickly and effectively heats the whole cabin. Please note that there is no central heating.
Loss - the owners take no responsibility for the tenant's personal property.
Variations to these conditions may only be made by prior arrangements with the owner in writing.
Your payment confirms that you release and forever discharge Peppin Point Cottage from any and all liability, loss and damage (including direct, indirect and consequential) or any other claim in any way associated with the use of the facilities by yourself and/or other guests at Peppin Point Cottage.
