Kyv (ky-ve) means “mountain” in the Ute-dialect which is the language spoken by the American Indian Ute tribe from the region.
We call it The Kyv Home as the house is located in Salt Lake City, a city surrounded by mountains.
The Kyv Home is 100% digital. From the door locks and alarm to the thermostat and garage opener. Before your arrival, you will received a unique 4 digit code which will give you access into the house and disarm the alarm and the digital panel that controls the rest of the house.
The Kyv home is your home. Please treat it as such. Here are a few house rules:
• No illegal activity.
• No smoking.
• No pets. (No service animals).
• No overnight guests who are not part of the advanced
reservation WITHOUT PERMISSION from host.
• Use kitchen freely, including dishes, counters, stove,
cooking wear, fridge, etc.; no dirty dishes should be left
in the sink overnight.
• Use washer and dryer, but must supply own detergent.
• If you need flexibility around the specified check-in or
check-out times, please let us know in advance.
