The Artpad is a lovely, bright, comfortable self catering Ground Floor, Georgian Apartment in the heart of Bath, minutes walk from all the beautiful places Bath has to offer. We are located on stunning Great Pulteney Street, seconds walk from The Recreation Ground and opposite Henrietta Park.
If the dates you are requesting are already booked then we have another apartment in the same building that might be available. It's called The Printer's Pad and can also be found on this site.
The elegant apartment has been refurbished with modern touches but also in keeping with its Georgian history. With nearly 1000 sqft there is plenty of space to relax and watch the world go by. The apartment has gas central heating, a flat screen TV with inbuilt DVD player. There is unlimited Wifi throughout.
The bedroom with a grand Superking size bed has been furnished with both antique and modern touches to ensure comfort and grandeur. With its high corniced ceiling this room feels large and inviting and is separated from the drawing room by the original full height Georgian marriage doors. There is a double size sofabed in the lounge for additional sleeping which is an extra cost (please see additional costs on invoice)

Contact the owner who will meet you at the apartment with the keys and show you around. If in the unlikely event we are away we will advise you of where to collect the key on the day of your arrival.
Interaction with guests
We live below The Artpad in the Garden Apartment so we are around to help or answer any questions in case guests need it.
There is also a guest folder in the apartment with contact details, information about the apartment, information leaflets about Bath and tours etc and menus from restaurants, cafes and bars.
Other things to note
There is a sofabed in the lounge at an extra cost. The cost quoted above is for 2 people sharing the main bed in the bedroom. We also have a high chair, cot, toys, books and DVDs for any visiting babies free of charge...
A list of items ready for your arrival in the apartment: small goodie basket, 2 toilet rolls, hand soap, washing up liquid, spray detergents, dishcloth, milk, tea, instant coffee, sugar, oil, salt/pepper, black bin bag. This is a self catering apartment so please bring anything extra that you require for your stay.

Terms and conditions
Please read these booking conditions carefully. All reservation requests (whether via email, telephone or post) are considered to be an acceptance of these conditions.
Airbnb takes payment and returns any deposits via their website
Cancellations must be made in writing by email or post. Payments for cancellations within 4 weeks of your holiday start date will not be refunded unless we are able to re rent the apartment. Other Cancellations will be refunded in full. Any cancellation made by email will receive a cancellation acknowledgement which must be retained as proof of cancellation.
3. Sleeping Capacity
The number of people staying must not exceed the maximum number agreed at the time of booking. If we become aware that the number of people staying exceeded the maximum number, we reserve the right to ask the entire party to vacate the premises. No refund will be given.
4. Arrivals and Departures
The Property shall be available from 2.30pm on the holiday start date until 11am on the end date. Should you fail to leave the Property by this time, a fee may be incurred which is payable out of the damage deposit. All keys must be returned otherwise a £50.00 fee will be incurred and deducted from the damage deposit.
5. Pets and Smoking
Pets and Smoking are both prohibited.
6. Linen and Equipment
The Property is equipped with bed linen including duvets, sheets and pillowcases and towels, all items specified on the Property's inventory. Linen and blankets for cots are not supplied. Any items that are missing from the inventory at the end of the holiday shall be charged to you at their RRP and deducted from the damage deposit.
7. Damage, Deposits and Cleanliness
All bookings are accepted on the condition that the Property will be respected, and that you shall be responsible for any breakage and/or damage to the Property and/or its contents. A damage deposit of £150 will be refunded in full within 14 days of departure, provided no loss or damage has incurred and the Property is left in good order. In the event of damage as a result of your holiday, we shall report to You within 7 days of departure with a breakdown confirming the deductions we will make from your deposit, details to cover; loss, breakage, damage, extra cleaning costs to the Property or its contents. You have a further 7 days after deductions have been made to respond with any relevant queries
The use of candles or fireworks is prohibited
9. Right of Entry
We reserve the right to access the apartment at all reasonable times for purposes of inspection or to carry out any necessary repairs or maintenance.
If you have any complaint, please notify us immediately. Please note that complaints are much more easily resolved while you are still in the property. If we receive any complaints of noise or disrespect and damage to the property, we reserve the right to require visitors to vacate the premises with immediate effect and with no compensation for unused days.
We do not accept any liability in relation to any damage to, or loss of, your personal property and belongings. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have adequate holiday insurance cover. Lost property will be held for 14 days and then handed to a local charity shop or a recycling centre unless we have been contacted by you with proof of ownership.
