You will be free to make yourself totally at home - use the Kitchen, your own shower room and toilet, or chill in the front room or music room. It would be fantastic if the opportunity arises to chat and get to know you, but if you prefer privacy that is cool too. See my guidebook for things to do - there's lots to keep you occupied!

In the morning you can lie in as long as you want and fix your own breakfast. I provide bread, jams, and eggs, coffee and tea. Re food - if you can see it, you're welcome to eat it.

Neighbourhood highlights

We are on the famous Cleveland Way walking route, where you can choose to head down the cost walking along lofty clifftops to Staithes, Whitby.

Our neighbourhood is very quiet, yet friendly and welcoming to visitors. Our house is a terraced house (English trademark) painted light yellow. It is light and spacious inside and guests have access to kitchen and living room areas.

Saltburn is a very special Victorian cliff-top town. It's totally unpretentious; a bohemian enclave full of artists, alternative thinkers and some great local businesses.

There is much pride in our beach and our town with regular beach-cleans and in summer the town makes a special effort in the Northumbria in Bloom competition often winning prizes despite having very few houses with gardens.

We also have the "Valley Gardens" - Italian garden and woods which is worth exploring - you might even find a victorian Viaduct hidden down there!

A kiwi living a long way from home, on a clifftop overlooking the North Sea. I have two lovely female lodgers, Andrea and Nicky, and one black cat - Mena. Together we create a relaxed and happy atmosphere. The house is big enough for all of us, with shared spaces being the kitchen, and occasionally the shower.
