I love all the cafes and restaurants around its 5 min from the subway 10 min from central park and metropolitan museum of art. Its located in a very upscale and quite neighborhood, beautiful tree line streets really gives you the feel of NYC.

It was a really nice apartment in a great part of the upper east. I had to check out earlier than I was supposed to for another guest, but he made arrangements for a place to store my bags for the day which totally made up for it.

Great location and you'll get fit climbing the four flights of stairs. We expected the apartment to be small but the space would be more usable with a bit less of Claude's amazing artwork, books and furniture.

Had a great stay at Claude's place. He was very accommodating for my check in. Great location and easy spot to navigate from.

Claude's place is in a great location and is comfortable. Only downside is it's on the 4th floor of a walkup with no elevator, but it's NYC, so that's to be expected. Claude was very accommodating with timing of check in and check out and communicated well.

Claude is an amazing host! He was very available for any concern we had. The space was lovely, with interesting art on the walls and cool decor throughout the apartment. This element contributed to a very authentic experience in New York. Also, I recommend the coffee shop right next door- extremely good hemp latte. Thank you Claude- when I come back I'll stay again for sure!!!

Claude was a great host - very quick at responding, explaining, helpful, friendly and flexible. As explained, the apartment is a studio - one room with a bathroom. As someone else has explained, it's on the fourth floor with no elevator. The bed was a 'flip-down' sofa bed tucked between the tv unit and furniture. The tv unit took up most of the back wall, so natural light is limited. There is a lot of artwork and furniture in the apartment, so floor space is limited. There is no closet space. The bathroom has a 3/4-sized bath and powerful shower. The area is full of great looking restaurants and bars - buzzing and safe. It took me about 20 minutes to walk to Central Park. The subway is a short walk away.

Stayed here for two nights, place was great. It was close to the subway and the park which was great. Not much going on in the area at night though but it's close enough to the train and other areas that its fine. Overall- great stay.
