Cottage overlooking Nipit Lake (one of the Twin Lakes), BC, 20 min SW of Penticton, 30 to Apex Ski Resort, 15 to Skaha Lake & very close to golf and general store. 1 bedroom with double bed, 1 sofa bed and one comfortable couch.

The space

Cosy 1 bedroom cottage (with deck), overlooking Nipit Lake, near skiing (Apex), golf (very close), both Skaha and Okanagan Lakes and excellent nearby fishing. We also have another vacation rental (Ataraxia) on the same property, if required for a larger group.

Guest access

Guests are welcome to access the cottage deck and the yard area around the cottage.

Interaction with guests

Although we cannot guarantee we will always be available, we are most happy to help our guests in any way we can.

Other things to note

Driveway up to the cottage is a bit steep - and can be slightly challenging in the winter without a 4WD (depending on the latest snow conditions).

We rented this along with their other listing at the same location. We had some friends and family visiting from abroad and it was super convenient to have this second listing available. Both listings were clean and very well stocked. Twin Lakes is a great location, secluded but close to Penticton and Keremeos. Only about 20 minute drive from either place. There are great wineries and fruit stands in Keremeos, Cawston and Kaleden. Also some nice walking trails in the area. The cozy cottage was a pleasant listing with amazing views! The hosts responded to inquiries very quickly and were super helpful.

My friends and I had a great stay at this quirky little place, patio was good with a fantastic view. Location is good for checking out wineries in the local area. Cleanliness of place was good. Mark responded to messages quickly. Only downside was we had some issues with connecting to wifi. But place was value for money and I would recommend.

We had a fabulous two-day stay at the cottage. It's well equipped, ideal for two people and the deck at the back has a stunning view over the lake. Perfect for dinner and a bottle of wine. Mark and Mitra were ideal hosts in that they left us to our own devices but made sure all was well. Many thanks. My partner says the pictures on the site don't do this place justice - the pictures are nice but the reality is better.

The cottage was very quaint and cosy with amazing views day and night. The fireplace heated up the place nicely and whilst it feels secluded, is easily accessible to Penticton city centre for all your shopping needs as well as being a great base to explore the Okanagan wine region.

While the photos are beautiful - this place was much better than I expected: clean, cozy, charming, and in a beautiful, remote location. Mark & Mitra were accessbile, but non-intrusive. I would highly recommend staying here. I will definitely be back (possibly by myself next time, to spend some much-needed time writing)!!

What a great place...cozy and quiet with gorgeous views yet still close to all the wineries and lakes. The little touches throughout the cabin were much appreciated!

We had a great stay. The cottage is very cosy and fully equipped, so we made most of our own meals, enjoying them on the deck with the beautiful view of the lake and the valley. The general store nearby has delicious pie! During the daytime we cycled the KVR from Penticton to Naramata, did some wine tasting, and cooled off in Skaha Lake in Penticton. We would definitely recommend.
