Welcome to Pescadero in lovely Baja California Sur, where it’s easy to feel at ease and at one with nature in the most mystical desert town in Mexico. This biodiverse region charms with its unbeatable surf breaks and deserted beaches where wild horses roam. Hugged by the shores of the Pacific Ocean and the Sierra La Laguna mountain range and accessible by an hour drive north of Los Cabos, this region remains a secluded paradise.

The space
The area is overflowing with activities: surfing, hiking, beach volleyball. And you will be in the heart of it all in the comfort of private bungalow #7. From this little piece of paradise, you can see nature from all sides: the Pacific Ocean ahead, a palm oasis on both sides, and (my personal favorite view) mountains looming behind fields where poblano pepper grow. Located in the bohemian dirt-road oasis of Pescadero, this home has all of the creature comforts you need for a long- or short-term stay.

The indoor area is accessible from the first floor and features an open-concept layout with a king-size bed, shower, fully-equipped kitchen with a gas stove, and comfortable indoor-outdoor lounge area to work remotely or read a good book. There’s also a surfboard rack, fan and air-conditioning, TV, lightning-fast WiFi, and a private parking space.
And the best part — you have your very-own private rooftop terrace to yourself! Beyond a spiral staircase that would make Le Corbusier proud, you’ll find a terrace with an extended couch, table, hammock, and two plush chairs. It’s perfect for morning meditation with a warm cup of coffee, when the birds are just starting to wake up and you can hear them chirping about. It's also a lovely area to dine alfresco in the evenings and enjoy one of Pescadero’s classic tangerine sunsets with a glass of wine in hand.

We want you to feel at home and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of Casa Hygge. The common areas include an outdoor pool, as well as a game room with darts, a billiards table, boardgames, and a library. On the second floor of the game room, you’ll find an open-sky gym and yoga deck. Throughout the property, there are also hammocks, lounge areas, and even an outdoor firepit surrounding the central gardens.

Other things to note
Whether you desire to have an adventurous holiday or relax beachside, Pescadero offers the best of both worlds. Not only are we equidistance from San Jose del Cabo and La Paz (we’re right in the center of the two!) we’re just a quick walk or drive to many of Pescadero’s top attractions: a 22-minute walk to the world-class surf break at San Pedrito; a 10-minute drive from family-friendly Los Cerritos beach; and a 12-minute drive from downtown Todos Santos, which has plenty of shops, restaurants, and cafés to enjoy.
More far-flung day trips can be found about an hour away in La Paz, where you can kayak the Sea of Cortez or swim with whale sharks, or in La Ventana, a town set about 90 minutes away that offers some of the world’s best kite-surfing conditions.

To get to us, it’s about an hour’s drive north from the San Jose del Cabo airport (also about an hour from La Paz). We suggest renting a 4x4 SUV for you visit.
Pro-tip: It’s also important to note that from around November through March, our high season, it can get quite chilly in the evenings. Be sure to bring a sweatshirt or poncho — and be prepared to fall in love!
