I grew up on and around Caragh Lake and recently moved back to this beautiful part of the world with my wife and nine year old son.
As a family we love the water. For years we've been sailing, windsurfing and paddle boarding, mainly on reservoirs around London, but on a trip home mid 2015 the penny dropped - this place was heaven and it was time to move back.
I'm originally German, moved to Ireland when I was a kid, lived in France for a number of years and for the past twenty have been in the UK, working in digital media.
For us it's about the quality of life here - the great outdoors, fantastic food and time with friends and family.
We feel incredibly lucky to be able to call this part of the world home and, whether at Bells Cottage, my parents' charming traditional Kerry farmhouse; Caragh Lake House, our large lakefront home which we recently renovated; or one of the other homes on and around Caragh Lake that we manage; we look forward to sharing this little bit of heaven with you.
