On arrival in San Francisco our host, Liz, was waiting for us and was very welcoming. She showed us around and explained all we needed to know. She also gave recommendations of where to shop and eat locally. There was a file at the property with various info and instructions also. The flat was spacious and nicely decorated, and had all that we needed there. Unfortunately, I was ill in bed (very comfy bed) during our stay so didn't get to see as much of San Francisco as I would have liked, but what we did see we thoroughly enjoyed. It is an amazing city and well worth a visit. The location of our flat was great for us. It is just across from Golden Gate Park, and within easy reach of public transport. I would stay here again if we ever return to San Francisco.

We had a great time in this flat. It overlooks GG park and is 5 minutes from Ocean Beach. Good public transport connections, wifi, clean, pretty and with shops nearby. A great base for a SF vacation.

Liz was a good host with some great local tips to see when visiting her neighbourhood. Loved the location close to Golden Gate Park but be aware that there is a bit of street noise from traffic along the main road. During our stay we had a couple of plumbing issues which Liz took care of with very little inconvenience to us, she kept up very good lines of communication. If you stay at Liz’s house make sure you take a walk in GG Park and check out the Academy of Science, definitely a highlight!

Wonderful two bedroom suite across from Golden Gate Park and right on a transit line. Our hosts were friendly and accommodating, and we felt that we were always able to get in touch with them. The only disclaimer is that it is on a busy street so if you have issues sleeping, it could be a problem. Most nights I went to sleep listening to music on my phone to drown out the traffic. Also, the insulation isn't great between the suite and the one above it, so you will hear the neighbours above you. Other than that, Iriving (a block up) was a great place to check out, as was the park. Get a MUNI pass and check out the city. Great restaurants nearby, the park is beautiful, and the beach is a half an hour walk away. Lovely people, lovely stay. So much to do!

It is a nice house. The location is excellent because is close to supermarkets and restaurants. And the house host is very nice. She always asked us if we need something that she can help us. The house is very tidy. I recommend it if you stay in SF for days. It is a good option. Thank you Elizabeth.

The location of this place is absolutely perfect. Golden Gate Park has so much to explore, many different transit lines are easily accessible, and the restaurant scene on Irving Street (1 block away) is fantastic. We had intended to cook some meals and eat in, but were unable to pull ourselves away from the huge selection of restaurants in the area. The Golden Gate Bridge is a short walk and a ride on the 28 bus away and if you stay on that bus, you'll end up near Fisherman's Wharf, Ghirardelli Square, etc. If you need to get to the other end of the waterfront area, just walk a few blocks back and hop on the N. We didn't have a car at all while we were in the city and had no problem getting anywhere we wanted to go. The place itself is nice - we slept in the main bedroom and our son slept in the back room on one of the twin beds. It was really nice having the separate room for him, so we could watch TV and hang out after he went to bed. The kitchen has a microwave, stove, blender, toaster, and coffee maker so if you manage to do a better job eating in than we did, you'll have no problem cooking. There is a decent amount of city noise since Lincoln Way is pretty busy and occasionally loud people are waiting at the bus stop outside, but it's not too bad. The rooms have curtains, but they don't block much light, so mornings are bright. Bottom line: amazing location, nice place, definitely recommended!

Nice, near Golden Gate Park, which is beautiful. Bus stop right by the door, incredibly easy to find parking.

We are a couple with a daughter and son. We like to live like locals when we travel- food markets, cooking, coffee at the corner in the morning. We are frequent travelers and keep a tidy apartment when we do. We host an apartment in San Francisco that is taken care of by my parents who are long-time San Francisco residents.
