We used one cabin and 2 bedrooms in the house- which was perfect for our family of 5 adults. Everywhere is immaculate but with lots of interest & character making it funky. Location-exactly what we wanted, on the shingle, walk to pub, light house, railway etc. Host interesting & informative, but happy to leave you alone if prefer. Full marks from us!

We had a great stay in Phillida's lovely home and BnB. It was prefect for what we needed which was a place to put our bags whilst we explored the landscape. The beds are very comfortable and the house is very cosy with a lovely big kitchen. Phillida is a very welcoming host and very communicative. A couple of people mentioned the wifi isn't great here. What I would say is that you can't use in the upstairs bedrooms as it doesn't reach but it is fine elsewhere. If you need to download large files it may not be ideal, but it's fine for emailing and the odd bit of browsing. We were up at sunrise on the night we stayed and it was lovely to come back to the house for a continental breakfast Phillida had put together. So all in all, if you are looking for a comfy, easy going and low key space to easily step in and out of the Dungeness landscape this is the place for you. Phillida has her own personal bedroom and en suite bathroom on the same floor as the other bedrooms. She is also building a couple of guest outhouses which look amazing. So hopefully if we come back we will be able to stay in one of those! Warmly recommended!

Phillida was a lovely host and the house was suitable for our needs. The property was clean, well presented and breakfast was good. Once the new cottages are ready they will provide greater privacy for guests. The main house was a bit of a squeeze for five adult guests.

I am a yoga instructor spending my time between London and Kent, my husband is a kitesurfer so we like to be at the beach most of the time.
We love travelling, being outdoors, tasty food, seeing our friends and generally enjoying life to the full.
