About this listing
Our home is a peaceful early 19th century Victorian cottage. It is well equipped and full of charm and character, with the decor of a typical English cosy country cottage. The garden is well-stocked and offers a beautiful relaxing space. Situated in a quiet village with a newly reopened pub up the road.
The cottage is warm and welcoming with a well equipped kitchen, and comfortable separate dining and sitting areas. The upstairs bathroom is spacious with shower / bath with the 2 bedrooms also upstairs.
The whole of the cottage will be accessible, and the garden offers seating and relaxation space.
Interaction with guests
We will probably be able to offer help but not always throughout your stay; however we can be in touch by telephone or email, and can arrange for someone to help if needed.
The quiet village (with newly reopened pub up the road) is situated in the countryside of Lincolnshire, and in an agricultural area with arable and some dairy farming. Lincolnshire is renowned for it's produce, and the nearby larger village of Woodall Spa offers restaurants and local shopping.
The cottage is in a small village so a car will be absolutely necessary. There is a limited bus service every day except Sunday, and countryside walking is a very pleasant option.
We expect Guests to behave respectfully, in treating the guest home as they would their own. Kitchen cupboards will have staples, and please replace items if they are used up during your stay.
Cancel up to 7 days before your trip and get a 50% refund plus service fees back.
