I have to admit I was a bit worried the place might not have been as good as I had hoped, especially as a friend has recommended Camps Bay as the place to stay, but I didn't regret it one bit, what a great find Cara's place was -absolutely delightful. The neighbours were friendly, the place was clean, the garden was beautiful and the view was amazing. Right across from the beach front and you can hear the waves which makes for an amazing sleep, honestly been the best sleep I've had in years. The bed was very comfortable and there is a pullout bed for a second guest if required. Although I didn't get to meet Cara during my stay (saw her relative Kristy instead as she was away), Cara was only a message away, and was very responsive and helpful. Even when I felt like I was being a bug and asking stupid questions because I wasn't sure, she was all too happy to help and make sure the stay was to high standard. She was quick to respond regardless of whether my message was from the UK or Cape Town. This was my first time travelling outside the UK and Cara had made this stay even better. I felt very safe in the property even when on my own. Thanks for such a great service and the flat was just beautiful. I highly recommend.

A lovely apartment in a great location. Everything exactly as described. We could have stayed on that window seat all day, watching the waves crashing on the rocks, except we had so many fun things to do in Cape Town so had to tear ourselves away.

Unfortunately, I didn't have the pleasure of meeting Cara during my stay (maybe next time!) but Kristy and her mother Debbie were really lovely! Cara & Kristy replied to any questions I had and dealt with everything so swiftly. The apartment itself is ah-mazing with the most fantastic view. It's in one of the nicest areas, Sea Point, and is well connected with frequent buses and an Uber is always close by. There are so many restaurants and bars nearby too. Back to the apartment, it has a fully equipped kitchen and a huge lounge area so there's no shortage of space. Very safe too, fob entry into the 'block' and then a gate on the front door. I felt very much at home here and when I come back, I'll definitely stay here again! Thanks again to Cara & Kristy for making my stay in Cape Town so homely.

The apartment is lovely, and has been sympathetically converted retaining and recreating original features. The kitchen is well equipped for any home cooking you fancy doing. The view of the sea was everything we hoped for, and I loved the fact you could actually hear the waves. Great location with nice restaurants nearby and very easy and quick to get to the centre!
