Spacious 1 bedroom that can sleep up to 6 people making it perfect for larger families who want to avoid separating the kids by staying at a hotel. The location is fantastic for those looking to go sightseeing as you are in the heart of the City.

The space

One bedroom apartment with a double bed. Living room has 2 sofa beds that can accommodate an extra 4 people if travelling on a budget and with kids. Its a good size one bedroom for 2-4 people sharing but if 6 are wanting to share I would only recommend a few days as it might be a bit tight. The kitchen is a long galley withe microwave, cooker hob and kitchen essentials for those wishing to cook.

Okay. I want to be honest and helpful to other AirBnBers. We would not rent this place again. The location is good, and there were amenities like an electric kettle, toaster, hairdryer, etc. We never met the host, but her young daughter let us in. But the furniture and carpet are very very shabby. The bathroom was tiny - and I mean tiny: the shower was less than 24 wide. Although the place is advertised for sleeping several people, the bathroom is through the bedroom and awkward unless you are very close and don't want privacy at all. Both bedrooms are noisy: the living room with the sofa bed is on the street and loud at night, and the actual bedroom is on an air shaft with loud fans. The apartment is over two restaurants which may explain the fans, but the stale food odors are pretty strong. The kitchen lights stopped working after the first evening, and the bathroom lights stopped after the first day. When we called, the host Jessie said she could send someone out but we would have to wait there to let them in???? Which was too weird for us to pay rent and then have to be involved in repairs so we just let it go. I would be careful and know what you are in for if you rent this place. I wish I had picked another place.

Response from Jessie:
You didn't get to meet me because I was in Rome that weekend. I sent you a message a couple of weeks before notifying you of this. The lights tripped out during the next day not the first evening which can happen anywhere. You sent me a message to say you were cooking in the dark ( at 12 pm ) so I responded extremely fast tried my upmost to get them fixed whilst I was in Rome thinking you were struggling. I asked if it was ok to send someone round and if you'd be in you said everything was fine here is what you wrote to me: As for the kitchen light, sounds you will want to look at it/repair it after we go. That's okay. It's not REALLY dark. Lol. I never asked you to wait in for the handyman. If a guest gets in touch to report an issue I will act on it ASAP. There is nothing wrong with the bathroom light you just didn’t work out how to pull the string however if you had contacted me I would have been happy to help you. As for your choice of accommodation its up to you to read the description. There is plenty of photos on AirBnb showing the set up of the property with a full description including a photo of the bathroom which shows the size clearly. Piccadilly Circus is not a residential area and is very similar to Time Square. Its commercial full of restaurants etc... There is only a small pocket full of residents in the West End and most of the apartments are above restaurants or bars.

Jessie (and her daughter) were very nice and helpful and the location is awesome. However, the apartment urgently needs a fix-up. The carpet is old and dirty, the fridge has a terrible smell. The worst part is the bathroom - it's so unpleasant and crowded. You nearly fall into the toilet when coming out of the shower. It is especially not kid friendly. I wouldn't go back and wouldn't recommend it to family and friends.

Response from Jessie:
I have 2 kids kids of my own and I have families staying in the apartment all the time who are very respectful and well behaved so unless you have no control over your kids nothing would be kid friendly. It was obvious the kids were left on their own running around screaming and writing all over the walls, furniture and even the TV with their crayons. So it makes me wonder what she expects from a flat to be kid friendly. I went to the flat one evening to drop off a mattress for the travel cot and couldn't believe my eyes of the carnage that was going on. The kids were running around screaming and parents smacking them to try and calm them down, they were completely out of control. I have never came across my flat in such a dirty state as this family left it, no bins were used just rubbish thrown everywhere dirty nappies left out it was disgusting and were so heavy handed with the furniture to the point they broke the coffee table without a mention. They made so much noise that my neighbour complained to me.

Perfect location. Very easy communication and check-in. Only issues are that bedroom was noisy amd also extremely warm and bright in the early morning, without sufficient shading to keep it dark. Therefore difficult to stay asleep past 7-8 am. Also, bathroom is part of the bedroon, so if guests are sleeping in the livingroom sofa-bed, might be an issue

This location was great and easily walkable to a number of many areas. Given its great location to many theaters and bars it can be a bit loud at night but overall not too bad. It has a very tight bathroom space but it is functional overall. I'd recommend the location for a couple wanting to be close to the nightlife and tourist locations.

Working in the music industry we love music, eating in good restaurants, visiting theatres and travelling around Europe and Asia. We love living in the West End because we have everything on our doorstep. We also enjoy watching comedy movies and the odd scary one. We are the perfect guests and can assure you we will look after your home like it was our own.
