Right on trendy Upper Street in the heart of Angel - a few minutes walk to 2 tube stations (Angel, Highbury & Islington) - with hundreds of boutique shops, restaurants and pubs. Adjacent to St Mary's gardens, the bedrooms are exceptionally quiet.

The space

Set on the first floor above a boutique clothing shop, the flat boasts 13' ceilings with open plan kitchen/dining living room with a door separating to a long, skylight lit hallway leading to a large master bedroom filled with light from the massive skylight and two sliding doors leading onto a private patio. On the way to the master bedroom is the 2nd bedroom / private TV room (the couch pulls out to a Full/Queen bed with a luxury mattress topper to ensure outstanding comfort. The bathroom has a tub with shower as well as a separate shower. The owners closet along the hallway is locked during stays.

Guest access

Please note that there is no cable attached to the TV, but an HDMI cord is available to hook up to your laptop.

Interaction with guests

We'll get you access promptly and are available to help throughout your stay, but will give you space to be on your own. An agent may meet you to exchange keys if we are travelling abroad.

Other things to note

On weekends, Upper Street can be noisy and voices are audible in the front room until about midnight. The rest of the flat, including both bedrooms, is exceptionally quiet even at peak times. The master bedroom has a skylight and double doors, making the room exceptionally bright (read: the light will wake you up in the morning).

Had a lovely stay. Great location, huge apartment and such a sweet courtyard. Would love to stay again, a true home away from home feel. I just had contact with Charlie who was a clear communicator and friendly. Only mishap was the toilet seat was broken and needed to be replaced so we needed to let in and be present when the handy man came, which all worked out fine. I would say the only thing to be aware of is when checking in and out the key drop is a 10 min walk which can be inconvenient with Luggage in tow. Had a really lovely stay, thank you very much!

Elliott's place is in a fantastic location with lots to explore nearby, a great apartment with comfortable beds, a lovely outdoor space and a well equipped kitchen area. Excellent transport links and supermarkets close by. We had to pick up keys from a different location, which wasn't an issue for us but may be if you have lots of luggage, young children, etc (10 minutes' walk but you can also take a bus). We had a slight hiccup with the keys but Elliott was responsive and helpful even though thousands of miles away, and Charlie took care of us the rest of the time.

We were contacted by Charlie since Elliott was away. Communication was fluent and he was very helpful, although we didn't get to meet him. We asked if there was a hair dryer in the flat and since there wasn't Charlie bought one through Amazon for us to pick up from a delivery point close by the next day. We were greeted with a bottle of red wine, a perfect way to cheer on arrival. It's a beautiful flat with lovely well-kept plants. You might want to be prepared for a very bright morning in the main bedroom but all in all it's a magnificent flat! Would definitely come back.

The flat is amazing! It's clean, cosy, has everything you need and it is located in my favorite part of London. The patio is a highlight! The location can't be better: there are great cafés, bars and restaurants a few meters away from the flat. The transportation is super easy and it is also a great place if you like to walk around to discover charming hidden corners. We also had great communication with Charlie. He was very kind and really helped us with our check-in troubles. Thank you so much Charlie and Elliott!

Great place to stay, in a very central location and an amazing patio out of the main bedroom.

I had a fantastic stay at this AirBnB gem, just off Upper St, over a busy Bank Holiday weekend. Communication following my request to stay was immediate and Elliot and Dennis were amazing at making sure I had everything I needed before my stay. The flat itself is gorgeous: the outside patio was the perfect spot to have a lazy brunch in the sunshine; and the second room was ideal for a chilled Sunday evening with a movie (when the inevitable rain came...!). As regards location, you could not have it any better. You are right off upper st with local bars, restaurants, amenities and transport links on your doorstep. Despite it being on a busy road, you have no need to worry about noise at night as both bedrooms are tucked away towards the back - a really comfy night's sleep! This is my favourite AirBnB in London. Thanks guys! Five stars *****
