We stayed at Eileen's charming old farm house while attending the Vintage races at Lime Rock Park. It was great to have places to eat within walking distance like the Bershire Country Store for breakfast, and Wood Creek Bar & Grill for dinner. If you don't mind hopping in the car, we highly recommend Blackberry River Baking for breakfast and lunch (thank you Eileen for the suggestion). Eileen was very helpful and welcoming, and everything was already ready for us when we arrived a bit earlier than we planned. The accommodations were great with an nice sitting room in addition to the bedrooms. The bathroom was spotless, the shower had lots of hot water and everything you could need was already there. We'd love to go back and explore more of the area.

We stayed for one night with Eileen who was very accommodating and communicated quickly to our text messages. Her place was much larger than I expected. You basically can choose between 2 bedrooms. There's also a very nice sitting room and a large bathroom just off of that. So it's kind of like having your own apartment within the house, even though it's not separate. We had to leave early the next morning but you can walk into town and partake of all it has to offer. Thanks Eileen! Catherine and Paul

It was so exciting to be part of their new home purchase ! I didn't have champagne but a nice bottle of wine was found and offered to the new homeowners! I welcome them to the neighborhood

A comfortable place with a generous and gracious host. The location was perfect for hiking, dining and/or attending a concert at Infinity Hall. AND at a great price!

Eileen is a great host with a beautiful old New England home that she has decorated beautifully, and very comfortably. She was quite thoughtful about our needs and made extra effort to 'set us up' with excellent local recommendations and anything we would need while we stayed at her home. Delightful visit to NE CT.

Eileen's place was positively lovely, much like the host herself -- warm, friendly, inviting. Her communication both before and during the stay was great. We appreciated her flexibility as we were arriving very late our first night -- she had our room ready and waiting, bed warmers going - a very nice homey touch on that cold winter night. We would definitely recommend Eileen's place when traveling through Norfolk.

Eileen is a warm and accommodating host, and the accommodations are just as pictured. We found easy nearby breakfast and pleasant dinners, and the library is always worth a visit! We enjoyed our stay.
