Lovely peaceful location in Notting Hill. An easy walk to cafes, shops & Portobello Road. Well situated for transport to central London and beyond. Attractive garden to the rear, small communal garden in our square and lovely park with tennis courts opposite, 1 minute away.
Our town cottage is in a particularly attractive part of London, registered as a Conservation Zone because of the unique architecture of the houses.
It is in a very quiet location and you won't hear the London traffic!
There is a friendly corner shop on the next street selling newspapers, drinks and basic food.
We do have a small dog who lives and travels with us; she is a non-allergenic dog as she doesn't drop hair.
The house has been recently painted.
Weekday parking is on the street using parking meters. The cost is £1.20 per hour, 8.30am to 6.30pm, Mon to Fri.
Weekend parking. On Sat it is £1.20 per hour 8.30 to 1.30pm, so you can stay for the weekend and only pay £6 for parking.
Longer-term parking. You can park in Westfield shopping Centre car park for only £9.50 for 24 hours. This is 10 mins walk from our house.
Our guests will have access to our whole house except for one room (the study) which will be locked.
Our guests can use the TV and DVD player but there is no SKY service.
The courtyard garden, vegetable garden and long garden at the rear can be used.
Our kitchen is well equipped and spacious. Double oven, grill, food processor, dishwasher etc.
Interaction with guests
We will be away but we have friendly neighbours on hand to help with any questions you may have.
There is also a corner shop with friendly staff on the next street (1 min walk away) where you can ask questions.
Other things to note
There are three bedrooms upstairs. The master bedroom has a very comfortable double bed.
There is another bedroom with a single bed.
The third bedroom is used as a study and will be locked while we are away.
No smoking please or dogs which drop hair!
