Interaction with guests
For any tips or advice on what to do in Whitianga or surrounding towns/beaches - we'll be able to help. We'll always be available for any questions you may have prior, during and after your stay. We want to make your time fantastic, not only in Whitianga but New Zealand as a whole.
Other things to note
In our home, there is one other bedroom (Guard Room) that is available through AirBNB. As such you might see and/or dine other guests over breakfast.
Your towels will be changed every day. Please note, for extended stays of longer than three nights, other cleaning arrangements with the guests will be made.
Again, if you are arriving into Whitianga by bus or aeroplane we may be able to arrange a pick up service upon request. Please get in touch with us at least 24 hours prior to your arrival.
The room only accommodates two people; therefore booking requests to accommodate more than two people will be declined. If you have more than two people, we suggest you also look at booking the other room we have available on AirBNB - the Guard Room.
Treat our home as you would your own. Please respect us as your hosts, other guests and our neighbours by not entertaining guests at our place, being loud or by late night partying. Upstairs is a private residence and is not to be accessed by guests. And please, no smoking on the property.
Please note: The latest check in time is strictly 10.00pm.

Jenni and I are seasoned travellers. After we got married, 37 years ago, we took off on a two year adventure, travelling around Asia and Europe. I (Garry) am also a keen cyclist, representing New Zealand a few times and I won a bronze medal at the 1974 Commonwealth Games. I've seen quite a few corners of the world as a result. I (Garry) can understand and speak a small amount of French and Flemish.
I (Garry) have been coming to Whitianga since I was two years old - needless to say, I know a few secret spots and all the things to know about the area. The property has been in the family the whole time, with a few renovations happening over the decades to make it what it is today.
We've got two rooms available for use through Air BNB - both equally as beautiful as the other. We love hosting people, and are more than happy to help you get the most out of the area.
Looking forward to meeting you.
