Nice quiet relaxing cottage and Sarah was very helpful and friendly despite our late check-in due to late arrival and traffic due to roadworks. Cell phone signal and wi-fi not good for business but good enough for leisure people. I will recommend this to other people - thank you so much Sarah!!!

I only arrived at Sarah's place after sunset. Sarah's welcome and friendliness was fantastic and I am sure that everyone who stays over here will feel the same. Her place was a great midway for our trip to the midlands. The biscotti she provided was a lifesaver! We only saw where we stayed when the sun came op the following morning - I won't mind staying at Sarah's place full time. The surroundings are beautiful. The apartment itself has all the basic necessities and is well stocked in terms of kitchen utensils, cups etc. We had to leave really early the next morning, but Sarah was there to see us off and even envite as back that evening should we not have a place to stay.

Sarah has lovely little cottage in the big garden behind her house. She's an enthousiastic host, her husband a wine buff. I's a quiet and safe place, guarded by a remote controlled fence and two big (friendly) German sherpherds. Expect nothing fancy, it's spacious and has some furniture with a history. A big fridge will keep your wine cool, which us nice when you want to sit on the veranda overlooking the garden with lots of birds and an occasional ape. The neighbourhood is residential and quiet, there is a nice glass gallery just around that has tasteful, usable plates in various sizes and very friendly prices.

Sarah and her family are accommodating, kind, giving, and friendly. I stayed 6 nights for business and didn't get to spend tons of time with them, however the text and verbal communication we did have was beyond my expectations. You had the choice to spend time with Sarah, her great husband and kids or be left alone. I spent 12-14 hour days in town for business, thus I wasn't at the cottage a substantial amount of time. Definitely not as much as I would've liked to as the cottage is a delight with much more room than you need. It's larger than a New York apartment ;) When I was seriously considering driving from Durban to Cape Town, they talked me out of it - such a wise choice that I'm still indebted to them. They helped me search for flights and booked it for me! Like I said, they're the ultimate couple/ family. Thank you so much ! Sarah and Clayton get an A++ rating for my stay. I'm from Los Angeles - when I visit Durban again I plan to stay with Sarah's family again.

Sarah was absolutely wonderful! She made us feel welcome and like nothing would be too much trouble. The view from the cottage is amazing and the surrounding area is filled with trees and the wonderful sounds of birds and nature. Would definitely stay here again
