Private room in a bright house of 110m2 in Ixelles in the quiet area of the Hippodrome de Boitsfort. Close to the Bois de la Cambre this apartment is also very well connected to the rest of the city.

The space

The room is fitted with a king size bed and you will be able to use part of the wardrobe which is reserved for travellers. The flat which is about 120 m2 has a main bathroom with shower and bathtub and second extra toilet. The living space is accessible to travellers which can use everything in the flat like if they were at home. This living space is composed of an american full-equipped kitchen opening on the dining table and the living room. The great feature about this flat is the glass veranda that enables a huge amount of light to enter in the living space.

Guest access

Guests have access to all of the house except to the other private bedrooms.

For the price, this flat was fine. I had full access to the kitchen, bathroom, and living room. It felt secure, and the neighborhood seemed calm. The sound from the road below seemed amplified, though. There was no hot water, however, which I didn't realize. I wouldn't recommend this to picky travelers, as the floors were a little dirty. I was provided with fresh towels, and I felt very welcomed in the flat. Raffa was very kind and helpful!

The house is very nice, and the room is good with a confortable big bed. The quarter is quite and calm, close to a big market and a lovely park. It's easy to get a transport to the center. We meet just the Raffaele's rommie and his sister, bouth very friendly. :)

Everything was perfect, the house was a little bit dirty but that wasnt a problem for us because we enjoyed a lot the relaxed ambient of the house. We didnt met Raffaele, he was travelling, but we could communicate easily with him through (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN). The location near a tram is great to go downtown. We would stay here again for sure.

The host hadn't made any efforts for us to reach his place! we were told the keys would be left in the mailbox but on our arrival we didn't find anything there. If this wasn't enough, he didn't answer our calls for a good 3 hours and we were 2 women waiting outside his building at 2 in the morning! It's been 3 weeks and he still hasn't refunded the money.

Response from Raffaele:
Unfortunately for organisation issues no one was able to open the door to ankita and her friend, it took some time for refunding because we could not get in contact. As soon as contact was made I refunded Ankita the full price of the stay plus a night in a hotel downtown. Ankita will be welcome to stay for free in my house next time she comes to brussels :)

Raffaele himself wasn't there but his (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) welcomed us and provided anything we needed. They're very chill people. It is a very nice appartment with a big living room and balcony, the neighbourhood seems very nice too. I can recommend staying here!

The apartment is in a great location with lots of free street parking. Raffaele gave great advice on the best way to get into the city. He lives a block away from the train and the tram which is about 20 minutes to get into Brussels. Raffaele greeted us at the door and showed us the apartment, which we were allowed free access to everything. He even left us little chocolates by the bed! The apartment and room were very clean, but the building has a smell of cigarettes. Other than that, everything was perfect.
