This is the second year I've stayed in Kristen and Michael's place for the Bloody Scotland crime fiction festival, and it was as good as last year. The house is a delight, and the people who were with me this year were stunned by the accommodation and the welcome we got. Everything was there we needed for the weekend, with snacks and necessities included in the welcome pack and a lovely bottle of wine. Communication was brilliant: Kristen emailed me about some renovations that were taking place but they had no impact on our stay. I'm going to book again for next year. Top marks again.

Place was really lovely with three good sized bedrooms, a big living area and lovely bathroom with very good shower. Kirsten and Michael were excellent with communication and answered any question I had. Really love place with wonderful character and 10 minutes from train station, 2 minutes from city center. Would highly recommend.

Kirsten and Michael couldn't meet us but they made sure that the key was easy to get, and instructions for all the amenities in the house were in a prominent place. They had left a welcome pack of food which was very nice, and we were made to feel very much at home. The house was spotless and stunning. It had such character and was very comfortable. Every room was better than the last. It is a very old house, but it has been restored with love and a great attention to detail, but it also feels lived in and there are lots of quirks, nooks and crannies. It's also right in the centre, and was close to the venues we were attending at the crime book festival. There is a fantastic little Italian restaurant within 30 yards and many other restaurants and bars within two or three minutes. I would recommend you consider this house if there are a group of you visiting Stirling.

A great, cozy but historic house in Stirling-a very historic town of it's own including Stirling Castle where Mary, Queen of Scots was crowned. Just around the corner are great restaurants and cafes. The house was perfect for our family of four and we loved arriving after flying all night from New York to find fresh flowers and breakfast provisions.

Kristen and Michael's place was lovely, definitely the nicest airbnb place we have ever stayed at! The house is beautiful, we loved the furniture and everything about it, it's very unique, cozy and felt like home immediately. It had everything we needed for cooking and breakfast. Kristen and Michael made sure the place was clean and cozy, they even put fresh flowers in the hallway. A big plus: the heating was turned on! As central Europeans we always find it freezing in British houses. It's super close to everything we needed and in the prettiest part of Stirling. Can 100% recommend! Thank you!

We love to travel. We run a Theatre Company and travel all over the world, though predominantly UK, Europe and Australia with our business. As a result we are always looking for lovely independent places to stay.
We enjoy theatre, comedy, art in all forms, music, food and good company. We are respectful and tidy guests who would treat your property with the same reverence we treat our own. We are very happy to host guests in our own home who will treat it with care and enjoy it's quirkiness.
Our life ethic is Be Positive, Be Kind, Have Fun.
