About this listing
Modern 3-bedroom, 6-bed, 2-level, 2.5-bathroom, 1400-square foot space in the center of it all! Located next door to the Convention Center and 2 blocks from 6th Street. There is no better place from which to experience SXSW.
This luxurious townhouse was recently completely gutted and remodeled, and you’ll be one of the first guests to experience its brand-new upgrades. We spared no expense when outfitting the interior, and every detail was considered—from the bamboo flooring, to the designer staircase, to the frame-less glass shower.
If you’re someone who delights in the little things, you’ll love this townhouse. With its clean lines and chic decor, it truly feels more like a high-end hotel than a vacation rental. Dramatic red accents on the first floor will energize you for the day ahead, while subdued grays, greens and whites create a relaxing, spa-like atmosphere upstairs.
This townhouse boasts three sumptuous bedrooms, including two master bedrooms with queen-size beds and a third bedroom also with a queen bed (brand new compliments of Tuft and Needle) and a twin folding mattress. There's a twin bed in the loft space and another folding twin mattress than can be placed in the living area. The upstairs master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom that features his and hers sinks, a walk-in Italian shower and a separate toilet. The downstairs master bedroom also has an ensuite bathroom with a separate bathtub and shower. There’s another half bathroom near the downstairs guest bedroom with a door to the master bathtub and shower.
Other amenities include a spacious and fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops and rich wood cabinets, free high-speed WiFi, a large water heater (to accommodate multiple showers), a covered patio, a Samsung 55" TV, plush leather couches, central air conditioning with a Nest thermostat, a modern LG front-load washer and dryer, pool access and complimentary parking for one car.
It’s difficult to find this kind of luxury and attention to detail in a vacation rental. Contact us today to reserve your dates!
Interaction with guests
You can reach us via phone, text or email throughout the stay.
Downtown Austin is literally at your doorstep. We’re right next to the Austin Convention Center, two blocks from both the Warehouse District and Sixth Street, seven blocks from Rainey Street and within walking distance of 100-plus restaurants and bars. If you are attending South by Southwest (SXSW), we couldn't be in a more central location. At the same time, we’re located on a quiet side street, so once you walk into the townhouse, you’ll feel a world away from the noise and crowds of the city.
Austin is a very walkable city. If you want to go further, we recommend Fasten. Fare and GetMe are also available, but Uber and Lyft withdrew from Austin. There's a taxi stand in front of the building as well. The metro rail is less than a block away. The Airport 100 Flyer bus to the airport and the UT campus is also less than a block away.
Other things to note
There is a 15% hotel tax in addition to the rates shown. Unfortunately, AirBnB does not have a native means to charge taxes without guests being charged an additional AirBnB service fee. This unit is licensed with the City of Austin (OL 004401). If another space you are looking at isn't licensed and isn't charging hotel tax, be wary that it may be shut down by the city at any time.
o Per the listing, the 15% hotel tax is due separately via AirBnB resolution. Unfortunately, AirBnB isn't set up to collect tax automatically in Austin like they are in many other cities.
o Quiet time is from 10PM - 8AM. We rarely get complaints (~1/year), but we want to keep our neighbors happy. If you traveling with a group of 7 or 8 guys, message us before booking. We'll get back to you quickly, but want to first confirm our place is a good fit. That ~1/year complaint is always with large groups of guys.
o Minimum age to book is 25. Message us for possible exceptions.
o Enjoy your stay!
Born in Michigan and raised in Maryland, I lived in Europe for 6 years and traveled extensively. I've been in Austin for 10 years now and absolutely love it here.
