Description

The space

The Twin Oak and adjacent River Oak are amazing well maintained vintage cabins, within 2 minutes of Sequoia National Park Gate. Original vintage knotty pine paneling, give off the glow of a hundred candles. Conveniently upgraded, with modern bathrooms, and a complete kitchenette. Private heavy duty redwood trellised bbq areas, with fire pit and picnic tables. Best local bbq, deli, and wine room just across and up about 1/2 block. You'll love the cabin experience.

Guest access

Private cabin for guest use.

Interaction with guests

We are always available by cell, and have very helpful local employees across the street.

The neighbourhood

Park lodging area, close and convenient to Park, restaurants and wine tasting room, yet backs up to a wilderness area that is teaming with wildlife.

Getting around

The highway to Park is now a beautiful expensively done Federal Highway project. Your tax dollars at a great use....makes driving to Park a PLEASURE. There is also private tours available, where you are the passenger, if you prefer not to drive.

Just call me, and I'll help set it up for you.

Other things to note

Please keep garbage in, for housekeeping to collect at end of your trip. If you need to dump prior to leaving, there is a great metal bin with bear bar. Bears will rip into your car in the Park and close by areas, if you have food left in car. No pets. The park does not allow pets on the trails, or left in the car unattended. The Park is very unpet friendly due to wildlife interaction.

We had an awesome stay at Pamela's place. It was comfy and cozy and had all the essentials. The best part was the access to the park, the cabin is right by the entrance of the sequoias. The only thing I would recommend would be to bring some of your own food since there isn't a very large range of food places around. Overall had a great stay and would stay again.

This cabin is great for couples! So cozy and a great location, close to the main park entrance and right across the street from a restaurant. I loved this little place and would definitely stay here again!

This is a cute 1940s-50s classic roadside motel. The kitchen was great with everything we needed. Overall these are basic accommodations. I wouldn't say the rooms have been majorly upgraded. The location is convenient to the park entrance. Keep in mind the drive into the park's main attractions is about an hour.

This cabin is so cute and cozy. It is perfect for a couple. The gate to Sequoia National Park is a five minute drive away, so amazing location. Unfortunately, we had to leave one day early due to rock and mud slides in the area. We couldn't afford to get stuck in Three Rivers and miss our flight. Pamela was understanding and agreed to give us an Airbnb credit for the one day that we did not use. Thanks for you cooperation!

Perfect spot near Sequoia. Great place and awesome little market and bat across the street. Would stay again whenever possible.

Pamela's place is conveniently located very close to the park, less than 10 min away. It's very cozy for a romantic getaway and close to a handful of cute restaurants in Three Rivers. Highly recommend staying here if you don't want to pay National Park lodge prices and if you have a National Park Annual Pass.

The experience was very welcoming and the host was very responsive about my concerns. Cabin was well prepared for arrival and was awesome. The only issue was with the bathroom plumbing being faulty and some logistical confusion about the cabin number and door code. These were not major issues and my experience was very satisfying.
