A comfy room with a great view, that’s what you’ll get here, and much more.
The price is for a double bedroom and there’s a triple as well.
Danushka’s is a three story guesthouse built on a hill facing Ella Rock and Ravana Falls. It offers two rooms with a great view, spacious balcony, separate entrance and an attached bathroom with hot water. On top, there’s a kitchen and a dining area, where you can enjoy a meal or read a book while enjoying the view.
Interaction with guests
We were welcomed with tea by the very friendly 19-year old Danushka, who takes care of guests together with his brother and parents, who met in a train, fell in love and lived happily ever after. Danushka drives a tuktuk and can arrange tours around the area, while his mom can make food for guests upon request. We had a nice and filling kottu rotti when we were there.

Neverbeen offers a wide variety of rare homes off the beaten track, from fisherman's huts and tree houses to heritage homes and tea estates. Our team hand-picks and visits every home and meet all hosts to make ensure guests have a positively memorable stay in places they've never been.
We provide travellers and home owners in challenging locations with access to one another, by offering communication services, online marketing services and tourism training, so that locals can make a living off their home and travellers can get to stay in places they have never been.
As such, Neverbeen works for a world in which everyone has the chance to earn income by renting out their home, regardless of language, internet access and tourism experience.
In Sri Lanka, Dishan manages our growing group of homes in cooperation with our scouts, while Rohan creates listings and provides service. In Amsterdam, Marten works out international growth plans. Our team of in-house programmers is constantly developing the platform itself and Ernst & Young does our finances.
The first country we're active in is Sri Lanka, a beautiful country with many undiscovered places to stay. Due to it recently having opened up to tourism after decades of conflict, it is a great place to start and pilot the Neverbeen concept. We plan to expand to ten countries before the end of 2017.
