Beautifully renovated barn conversion. Spacious, airy yet cosy. Perfect place for friends or family to get together. Five minutes drive to Blackwaterfoot where you'll find local shops, golf course, riding stables, swimming pool and sandy beach.
Mill Barn is central to travelling anywhere on the Island. The main ferry port in Brodick is less than 20 minutes drive away.
If you are bringing bikes there is a lockable shed in the garden for storage.

The space
This Barn Conversion has the lounge upstairs overlooking the kitchen. All other rooms are on the ground floor. It has a wet room with toilet & sink and a shower room with toilet and sink. Four bedrooms and an office/study room where you can sit and work on your laptop connecting to the wi fi. There are shelves with various books, games and dvd's for those wet days. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer, so you don't have to go home to a load of washing. There is a large garden to the front and side which is child safe. In the garden there is a picnic bench for your use. In the shed are garden chairs. There is space in the shed to store bikes.

Neighbourhood highlights

Shiskine is a small village located on the edge of the Shiskine Valley. There is a doctors surgery a few minutes walk away and the local taxi driver lives very close by.
There is a small swing park nearby. Mill Barn is less than 5 minutes drive from the nearby Village of Blackwaterfoot where there is a sandy beach with fantastic views and sunsets in the evening on a good day. The local Kinloch Hotel in Blackwaterfoot serves delicious food. It also has the village's Public Bar where they have a big screen for showing sports. You will find in Blackwaterfoot a newsagents, Butchers, Post Office and Grocery Store and the Bakehouse Bakery. There is the unique 12 hole Shiskine Golf Club with views over the whole course. In Blackwaterfoot there is also a local petrol/diesel garage.
I can go on and on about what there is on this beautiful Island but you need to come over and experience it yourself.

I am a married mother of 2 and grandmother of 2. Family is everything to me. Mill Barn was our family home and we would like other people to enjoy it as much as we did. I enjoy playing lawn bowls, reading and dancing around our kitchen to the radio.
