Mark is a very accommodating and friendly host. I told him that I need an earlier check-in time during the day before my arrival. He actually managed to tell the previous guest to check out early so he could clean my room in advance. I am truly thankful for that!! Upon my arrival, Mark was right there for me & we had a great conversation about the city, and how he will renovate the place. (so yes, get hyped & excited if you plan to stay here!) We also talked a lot about life and work. It was very pleasant to have the chance to talk to him. Just for your information, Mark has a really cute & funny cat named Mugsy. Mugsy is very friendly and quite. he would not disturb me unless I asked him to play with me. If you're a cat person, Mark's is the right place for you. Later that night, I asked if Mark has any amenity such as razor and soap. Although he did not manage to find one, he did find some travel-size body cleaners for me. I appreciated the efforts very much. The only thing I found a bit inconvenient is the shower room. Both the bathtub & the sink were very easily clogged. However, since Mark said that he will renovate the entire apartment in the near future, I believe this won't be a problem. For the next few days of my stay, we did not really see each other. Nevertheless, Mark told me I was free to contact him anytime if I needed anything. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay & I will be back to stay at Mark's for sure in Boston.

Had a great 4-night stay at Mark's with my boyfriend. Mark is very hospitable, he truly cared if we were happy and insisted we let him know if anything went wrong. Great location - 15' walk to the HBS, two supermarkets nearby, 30' walk to the Harvard square. Try Tatte cafe for breakfast (20' walk). The room was spacious enough for 2 people, there was a mini fridge in the room (where Mark had kept some yogurt and water for us - sweeeeet!). Also the cat, now an icon among my friends, you've got to see it!

Mark and his family have been very nice. And the kitty, Mugsy, is cute. It's great to meet them, and the apartment is very neat. The bed should be highlighted.

I spent a weekend at Mark's place, he has been very welcoming, helpful and friendly and he's got a nice family. I definitely recommend this place! The only weird thing I saw is an original cat with no nose, but nice too though! :) If you're lucky enough, Mark will offer you a shot of Balvenie, a very good 15 year-old whisky!
