The space
Sauna hut
In addition to sleeping, the sauna cabin naturally includes a wood-burning sauna (including a shower and toilet), a well-equipped kitchen with high-quality appliances, a century-old dining table that has been in the family for decades, and a cozy seating area in front of the fireplace.
Sleep
"Good sleep is an integral part of relaxation. On the upper floor of the sauna hut, there are 2 wide beds for two guests each, and we can also accommodate a baby cot if needed. If there are more guests, we offer additional accommodation for a fee in the Cinema Hut, which has a pull-out sofa."
Outdoor patio
Covered terrace and an outdoor kitchen with a Green Egg grill, a dining area, and a spacious gazebo with a sofa.
Enjoy the charms of a forest spa - a hot tub filled with clean well water, with the background of bird song and the rustle of the forest.
Kitchen
The Sauna Hut's kitchen is small but mighty. Our electrical capacity is limited in the countryside, but despite this, the kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, a gas stove, an electric oven, and all necessary cooking utensils. Naturally, you'll find both salt and pepper, as well as organic rapeseed oil from the neighbouring farm. You can also find coffee from our favourite roastery and self-picked herbal tea on the kitchen shelf.
Sauna
The wood-burning sauna is our family's favourite. Local organic shower amenities and soft sauna towels await you in the shower room . However, the real forest spa experience is born from combining the pleasures of the sauna with a hot tub (available for extra charge), where the caress of clean water and the bird song restore the body and mind.
Cinema hut
We've kept the Sauna Hut screen-free. However, if you're tempted to indulge in a cozy movie night or play some Playstation, our guests are invited to the Cinema Hut next doors, equipped with a beamer and a wi-fi sound system. There is also a working desk under the window if life calls and work tasks need some solving. The Cinema Hut offers accommodation for two guests for additional fee. For a more enjoyable experience, the cinema cabin has its own toilet.
Children are warmly welcomed. Outdoors, they will find a playhouse, swings, and a slack line. Slightly older kids can practice their skills at our table tennis table. Indoors, there are games waiting for both the youngest and the most experienced players.
What to do?
There is a lot! For the beginning let's not forget that in the countryside, it's really nice to do absolutely nothing. A short walk away from the Sauna Hut is a pond where you can swim in the summer and ice skate in the winter. Nice forest trails for walking can also be found in our vicinity. Haapsalu, Marimetsa bog, and Noarootsi are just a short drive away.
Sustainability
Sustainable thinking has always been highly valued in our family. With the Sauna Hut, this begins with using logs cut from our own forest, and extends to the recycling of old floorboards and window glass. We have tried to reuse what is reasonable, and have bought new only those items that last long and consume little energy.We have also made waste sorting as easy as possible. Let's save together!
