My recently renovated 810 sq ft ground floor garden flat is very spacious and bright and within walking distance to great shops and restaurants in Westfield Shopping centre & Notting Hill. Its located on a quiet road just off the vibrant Uxbridge Road and has great local transport links. The two double bedrooms have very comfortable beds, are well lit and have decent storage space. The modern bathroom is clean and guests can cook in the well appointed kitchen, or explore the local restaurants.

The space

The large main reception room is very well lit thanks to sky lights and large double doors that open into my garden. It has two sofas, satellite television, a desk and a dining room table.

The kitchen has a small fridge, a 4 hob gas oven, a toaster, a Nutri Bullet, and a kettle.

Both decent sized bedrooms are well lit and have good storage facilities. There is one clean and modern bathroom which includes both a bath and a shower.

Guest access

Guests can use the kitchen to cook and the main sitting room to relax / watch tv and also have access to a small decked garden at the rear of the flat.

Interaction with guests

I am more than happy to offer recommendations on places to eat, visit and enjoy in this magnificent city called London! I have lived in almost every part of town over the past 12 years so know it very well. If you would prefer to find you own way around town that is no problem at all, I will not take offence! Other things to note

Please recycle as much as possible. The bin in the kitchen has sections for recyclable and non recyclable rubbish. Rubbish is collected weekly on a Monday morning so please ensure its placed in the refuse bins in the front garden on Sunday night. The parking bays are resident only between 9am & 5pm on weekdays however there are bays with pay meters that can be used by non residents.

I expect guests to be mindful that it is my home and so should be treated with respect. The flat is located on a quiet street with lovely neighbours so please ensure noise is kept to a minimum. No pets are allowed and smoking is only permitted in the garden. No additional guests or parties are permitted and the flat is expected to be kept clean and tidy.

We spent 6 weeks in Alex's home and we loved it! Alex and Clemmie are so nice. Clemmie gave us places where we could go and visit, it was very nice.

Alex's flat was perfect for our stay in London. We loved the bright and spacious living room, and the secluded location with very little noise from traffic and neighbours. That flat is a real home, with lots of books and art that gives the right home-feeling, and invites you to stay in. The kitchen is well-equipped, but with a lot of good places to eat on Uxbridge road we didn't take advantage of the kitchen other than for making breakfast and coffee. The bathroom has a tub and shower, with plenty of hot water for 2-3 persons, as we were. Bedrooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. Clemmie, who co-hosted with Alex, made all arrangements with us in a timely and flexible manner, which we highly appreciated. She was very kind, and stopped by to say hello and collect the mail a few times during our stay. All information given in the ad of the flat was just like we would have described it. We absolutely recommend Alex's flat, and would love to stay there again some time.

If I could put 6 stars I would! We loved this place. The living space is full of natural sun light, the 2 beds are super comfy, the terrace is beautiful* Clemmie is such an amazing person and her communication was impeccable* I recommend this place for sure!

Alex is truly a lovely guy. The property is immaculate and his hospitality was amazing. I would recommended anyone stay here. The location is close to several shops, restaurants and transport links, all within a short walk. Alex knows a lot about London so had plenty of recommendations of places to go. I was made to feel very welcome throughout my trip and would love to have stayed longer if I could! If you are looking to stay in a beautiful spot in Shepherds Bush, this is the place to be. I was happy to stay at Alex's place near Shepherds Bush. He was kind enough to wait for me to check in after I was delayed in the coach coming in to London. He is very friendly and helpful and I felt relaxed in his nice home. The bed was very comfortable and so was the room and the rest of the house. I would recommend staying there if you are in that part of London with many eateries and pubs and the Westfield shopping, plus good bus and underground for travel needs.

Fantastic experience staying at Alex's place! I would highly recommend and I will definitely return as I was super pleased. Alex was very accommodating and the flat was nice and bedroom was cool and the bed very comfy! I think I was Alex's first guest on Air BnB and it was a great experience for me if only all my other stays went as smoothly as this it would be great!
