The Sandproject trainees have renovated this De Gournay inspired apartment. Less than a hundred metres from the beach, it offers accommodation for up to 6 people and is ideal for a weekend break.

Facilities include three bright and airy double bedrooms (one with twin beds); two bathrooms (one ensuite) and a large living/dining room/ kitchen with a stunning sea-view.

Situated on a quiet street and a quick walk into the center, with a wide variety of shops, cafes and restaurants on offer.

The space
Sand Bay Suites are unique and bespoke. The suites themselves have been designed and decorated by the trainees at the Sandproject. Here at Sand - we provide a safe, supportive and accessible learning environment for young adults who face life and learning challenges. Please do look us up for more information at: the sand project.
The trainees also package the tea. Any tasty morsels left for you will have been baked in the Sand Bay Cafe. Sand trainees also turn over and clean the rooms. We do everything in house - everything is organic and high end and there is also art to appreciate and purchase!

Worthing has many attractions to offer, including: high street and independent shops, lots of restaurants and bars for all tastes (the in house manual will provide recommendations), three theatres, numerous museums and art galleries; historic sites; a pier, fabulous walks and cycle rides along the seafront and easy access to explore the magnificent South Downs and the many pretty towns or little villages nearby via train or bus routes.

· unfortunately not suitable for wheel-chair users as it is situated up 2 flights of stairs.

Guest access
We use self check in via a lockbox. You will access the building using a keycode on a side gate (a key for the inner building is in a lock box under the Sand Bay Suite signage). Open a door with a key into the main building straight ahead. Walk up the stairs, turn right, go through an open doorway and the Suites are located first on the right. We will let you know the code for the outer door closer to your stay.

Parking right outside is cheap but will add up over a weekend - I suggest driving to Bath Road and parking your car in and around those streets as it is free. It's a 5 minute walk from the suites.

Other things to note
This Air b and B is part of a college for special needs young people and the flat is situated within the college, so when you enter the building you will see a notice board and various posters that show case some of what we do here. It has been set up and is run by trainees - so we REALLY appreciate feedback and reviews.
