Renovated, non-smoking studio located on the 29th floor of the Hawaiian Monarch in Waikiki with views of ocean and Diamond Head. Hawaiian Monarch is a 44-story, 144-unit condo/hotel built in 1979 and conveniently located at the western (“Ewa") end of Waikiki between Ala Wai Boulevard and the intersections of Ala Moana Boulevard and Kalakaua Avenue. The common areas, reception desk, and 50 of the 144 units are managed by the Hawaiian Monarch hotel and the remainder of the units are privately owned (some occupied by long-term residents and others being used as vacation rentals). This is a secure building with 24/7 security on site and keycard-only access to the elevators and above the lobby area. The building also has an attached parking garage but it is privately owned and not associated with either the condo or the hotel.

This is a non-smoking unit. Please smoke only in designated areas located outside of the building. A $250 cleaning charge will be assessed for guests who do not comply with this policy in order to return the unit to a smoke-free condition.

We’re East Coast (NY/PA/DC) transplants who’ve been living in Waikiki since 2008. We’re both working professionals (Jackie is a contract manager for a tech consulting firm and Matt is a web programmer for a government consulting firm) who love to travel, try new food, and meet interesting people. We currently own three studios in the Hawaiian Monarch building - one is on the 12th floor and the others are adjoining units on the 29th floor which have separate, locked entrances but share another entry door (all studios on the higher floors of the building have this setup). All are fully furnished with one queen-sized bed and are suitable for 1 or 2 people:
