Watching the birds at the feeder and having a coffee in the great room was so relaxing. There was no share age of space and great for a large family.

A beautiful and secluded spot. The basketball hoop out the back and the table tennis were fun but my favourite thing was catching the morning sun out on the veranda.

We had a great stay thank you Donna. Large house that accommodated everyone with ease and comfort. We especially loved the large dining table and our 94 year old family member greatly appreciated the inclinator. Thanks again.

This is a lovely comfortable house in a very quiet secluded area. It is high on a hill but for those who find the steps difficult there is an inclinator which is also handy for carrying up luggage and grocery supplies. The grandchildren named it the glass elevator from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. There had been a lot of rain in the previous days and the pool was very green yet Donna had it quickly seen to. We had not realised that the bed in the main bedroom is a water bed which we did not find very comfortable but we could have slept elsewhere in this 5 bedroom house. We didn't only because the view from this upstairs bedroom is exquisite looking out high over trees so it is almost like living in a tree house. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a large dining table suitable for a large family get together. On the verandah as shown in the website picture is a large table to congregate about. Our youngest grandson loved the bird feeders on the other side of the picture windows which meant he could watch the numerous birds without them flying away. Behind the house are rock ledges for adventures and geckos to find and bush walks to discover. It is all very safe for children although the road is busy but there is really no reason for them to be any where near the road. It wasn't cold when we were there but there is an enormous fireplace in the main living room which must be lovely when it is cold and there was plenty of chopped wood supplied. We are not TV watchers but we did notice that the large screen TV is in a separate living room which would be nice for those who don't want to be subjected to it. The shops are about 5 minutes drive away and a well stocked IGA is there. Phone reception is intermittent but generally available on the front verandah. There is no WIFI if this is an issue for you. We are happy to have screen free holidays. All in all a lovely place for a family getaway. A few suggestions to make the house more homely. We love the fun of discovering books in holiday houses but there are none here. It would also be fun for the children to have a few board games - just the variety of something different from what they have. Thank you Donna for organising it all Regards Jacqueline
