The space

This comfortable accommodation has a choice of two rooms - either a queen room or a twin room with two king single four-poster beds, all with quality linen. Guests have their own bathroom with a separate toilet.
The accommodation is part of a country home on a 40 acre working farm. Guests can enjoy their own private space with rural views up to Mount Nichol and are welcome to use the family kitchen and living areas, with the family. The home has magnificent views across Corner Inlet to Wilsons Promontory National Park, which is just 14 km down the road.
The area has an extensive rail-trail passing through Foster from Leongatha through to Welshpool for both walking and bicycle riding.

Guest access

Guests are free to roam the property and large gardens and say g'day to the cows. Most mornings kangaroos can be seen in the local area and wombats come out at night.

Interaction with guests

As long-term residents of area we are more than happy to share our local knowledge on the best areas to visit, places to eat, and where to find the local wineries. We have lots of printed information on Wilson's Prom and the local attractions.

We could not recommend staying with Joanne and Noel more highly. Guest accommodation is clean, very comfortable and well-furnished, and each morning's substantial breakfast spread (eaten with spectacular views of the Prom) was superb! Joanne & Noel are very friendly and welcoming hosts, and offered us invaluable insight into the local area and walking options on the Prom. Without doubt, our best AirBNB experience to date! We would love to come back and stay longer next time!!

A beautiful home in glorious countryside. Joanne and Noel made us very welcome. Our rooms were comfortable and spotless. Breakfast was delicious with a very generous choice of fruit and cereal. We recommend this airbnb to all visitors wishing to stay in this beautiful part of victoria.

Joanne urged us to treat the place as if it was our own. We had our own room, bathroom and toilet (might have had to share if the other bedroom had been occupied). We were offered a huge range of breakfast options and very useful and comprehensive information about visiting Wilson's Promentary.

Response from Joanne:
Thanks Dave for your review and we are glad you had a great time visiting the Prom. Regarding the comment re bathroom...we are mindful that guests prefer their own bathroom, so only book out one room, unless it is a group of 4 who book together.

Wonderful people, wonderful place. Made me feel very welcome from the moment I arrived. Fantastic and comfortable room and home and the perfect place to explore Wilsons Prom from. Added to that Joanne and Noel are incredibly knowledgeable about the area so can point out some great spots. Thanks for an awesome time!

Joanne has such a fabulous library of local books maps and so on but she really knows the lot and tries to understand exactly what you are wanting to get from your break and pointed us in all the right directions. However it was hard to leave and do anything because the property has so much to offer from a fabulous garden, beautiful views from each deck, lovely walks horses, dogs oh and a piano, wish we had allowed more time than we did. The breakfast was fab and the Anzac biscuits the best we have tried. Noel a big thank-you for letting Richard come and watch early morning milking

Fabulous views of Wilson’s Promontory and Corner Inlet and the beautiful South Gippsland countryside and surrounding hills. Close to beaches at Wilson’s Prom, Waratah Bay, Sandy Point, and the local towns of Foster and Fish Creek.
Our house is situated on the hills in a quiet location with an extensive garden hosting birds with other wildlife close by.
Noel and Joanne have lived here for 20 years and look forward to providing a wealth of information on local activities as well as Wilson’s Prom.
Close to beautiful Walkerville and Cape Liptrap lighthouse, and Agnes Falls.
A strong arts community provides many galleries close by, along with a number of cafes and places to eat.
Guests are welcome to rest and relax in one of the lounge rooms or on the veranda or join us and socialise...this is your holiday.
