Our Townhouse is in a gated complex.

The quiet house is only 10 min away by rickshaw from the beautiful South Goa beaches like Patnem and Palolem and a walk away from Chaudi village and market.

The attached garden is approx 1000 sq.ft and comes with sun lounges,
umbrellas and garden furniture suitable for a comfy day outdoors. Its suitable for Barbque as well, Also, there is a baby's bed if required. The 3 bedrooms have attached toilets. There is also parking space for your car.

The space

Our Chaudi Village is a place time forgot. It is a quiet and calm village without the usual hustle and bustle of a big city which you will love. Most guests like the village style atmosphere and pace of life that we Goans pride ourselves on. There are plenty of shops and shacks on the beach, yoga and massage hideouts. The local cuisine is made up of traditional Indian spices with a hint of Portuguese flavour,

Guest access

The guests will have access to the whole house as well as the attached garden for an evening cocktail and barbq. There is a large swimming pool for those who dont want to venture out to the beaches as well as a small gym for your daily exercise. There is a small fee for swimming and using the gym. Rs.100/ per person.

Interaction with guests

I live mostly in Mumbai but travel to Canacona as often as possible to meet with our guests. We like to share our rich knowledge of the area when we are there. Meeting my guests is a very important factor in my renting with Airbnb where I get to know whether the guests are satisfied with the facilities as well as comfortable and safe with the surroundings.

Other things to note

The Chaudi Village is walking distance from the house. There is a Saturday market in the morning where you can get fresh vegetables and groceries.
A Bakery on the main road where you can buy fresh Goan bread and Puffs and also a Government supermarket just at the main gate.

Had a great 2 weeks staying here. From the moment i booked, Lynette was in touch and offering assistance. On arrival Lynette and Roland provided information about the apartment and local area and offered to assist with accommodation if we wanted to stay for a couple of days in North Goa. The apartment was clean and there is a nice lady who cleans twice a week and can also do additional days if you request them. Temperatures were very high during the 2 weeks but the air con and fans quickly cooled down the apartment. Lynette kept in touch via (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) throughout our stay to ensure that everything was ok Neighbours were very friendly and also able to offer good advice re the local area. Would be happy to return to this apartment and highly recommend it to people looking for a relaxing trip to Goa.

Lovely hosts, good communicators and listeners. The place is having a refurb since we left. The broadband is pretty weak - you can (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) and email but you won't be downloading any videos

From the minute we booked Lynette was in contact. She helped us to get some presents delivered for Christmas and picked the parcel up for us which was above and beyond what we expected. The house itself was perfect and offered everything that we as a family would need. If we had any problems we knew we could contact Lynette at any time and that she would help us. We would definitely recommend a stay here and if we ever make it back to Goa we would stay here again.

The hosts, Lynette and Roland were warm and welcoming. They were attentive and helpful in giving us information. However, the listing was not as described and the photos were misleading. These have since been removed, we would assume in recognition of the shortcomings we described.

This flat (house) is really great. Air conditioning and fan in every room. Cozy and spacious place. You can find everything in the kitchen. Lynette and Roland are kind, nice and very helpful people. If I ever come to Canaconda again I would stay there for sure. And we still had cleaning help from Ratna, another very special person.

Thanks Lynette & Roland for the great - but unfortunately too short - stay! Roland showed us the house. Nothing to complain, even much better than the pictures: new spacious house with huge quite terrace with a BBQ and great view over the forest, fans (we din't need the airco), big bedrooms, clean bathrooms and well-equipped kitchen. Roland seemed very happy to accommodate us and were very forthcoming with any questions we had. In the afternoon after a refreshing dip in the pool, we got our groceries at walking distance in Chaudi. It is a buzzing little village with with all necessities to buy, and plenty to eat and drink. In the evening we lit the huge BBQ and enjoyed the warm evening outside under the stars while the kids played on the terrace. Next day we rented a scooters for 200 roepies to set-off for the close-by Patnem and Palolem beaches. Gorgeous & quite white sand beaches with a couple of shacks in between the palm trees where we enjoyed our breakfast with fresh juice for no money, what more can you ask for?? Unfortunately we couldn't extend our stay ... so we put this place on our wish list to come back to for a much longer stay! Thanks again for the hospitality Lynette & Roland, hope to be back soon!
