The house is stunning and the location is perfect, hidden right within the old town and a few steps from the sea front. Mike the host was perfect. Very good value for the size and location of the property, strongly recommend to anyone.

The house is absolutely beautiful and the pictures really don't do it justice, it's both homely and grand in a very inviting way. Mike was great - communication was excellent and he was very helpful getting us settled in. Highly recommended.

Mike's place is just great; being yards away from, probably, the best street in Hastings with lots of pubs, restaurants, cafes and quirky shops. Having said all that and after returning quite late on Saturday night George Street was very boisterous (friendly and fun noise) but you couldn't hear a thing in the beautifully appointed, spotless and very comfortable house. The photos don't do it justice. Mike himself was a great informative host, coming into the street as we arrived to meet us. Highly recommended!

Mike's stunning place is central and just tucked off the Main Street. Perfect base camp for our trip to Hastings for a friends wedding! The garden is spectacular, we managed to climb our way to the top for beautiful sea views! Mike was great at communication and helpfulness! highly recommend!

Unique, idiosyncratic house in Hastings' Old Town. In a quiet little passageway just off one of the two main streets, so close to all the bars and clubs and quirky shops, yet private and secluded. A short walk to the seafront, and to the two cliff railways (West and East) that carry you up the hills. The house is simply, but comfortably furnished, in keeping with its age. A beautiful, if rather steep garden straggles up the cliff face behind the property, with little nooks and crannies where you can sit and enjoy the breeze. Bus and rail transport is within walking distance and we roamed up and down the coast to Eastbourne, Bexhill and Rye. Plenty to see. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Mike's house is beautiful, characterful and in an amazing location right in the heart of the Old Town area of Hastings. The house is close to shops, restaurants, cafes and some great pubs, but still feels very private and secluded. Very clean with a well equipped kitchen, good internet, lovely garden and very comfy beds. Thanks Mike for such a great stay!

Good location, friendly host and comfortable house. Not super modern but lots of character including a great garden. We had a lovely weekend exploring the local countryside including the beautiful Hastings country park.
