Yuko is a really nice host and lives in a quiet place, surrounded by farms. So if you seek a place to avoid the busy cities and to take a break during your trip, this is the place. You need to take a taxi from station Sonogi to Yuko's place (¥1500). Also the nearest (super)market is 10 minutes by car, so don't forget to bring food for breakfast. Yuko offered a home cooked meal for dinner once for a small price. It was a delicious vegetarian meal, all veggies came from her own farm. Also we had a nice chat about her Japanese living and our trip. Tea and coffee were complimentary, which is very welcoming for breakfast and after a day trip. It was a nice stay to have a break and to visit Nagasaki.

Staying with Yuko-san was truely fantastic. Her house beeing a bit remote (if you don't happen to have a car - but Yuko totally made up for that by picking me up und bringing me to the station whenever needed!) is really a place to take a break from all the hectic and sometimes a bit exhausting lifestyle one can easily fall for in Japan (especially during sightseeing and stuff). What better way to start your day than by waking up inbetween rice fields with nothing but the crickets in the morning?! Yuko herself is such an incredible happy and open-minded lady with loads of energy working on all of her backyard. Also she happens to be a pretty decent (organic vegetable) cook herself - we had an awesome dinner together with the other guests of her. Actually I do feel blessed her beeing my host for a couple of days. And if I ever make it back I'll be a bit of a help too.

Yoko Sang is a honest and kindly lady, she trade me and my daughters carefully when we stayed there, and we had a lot of interesting chatting, too. If you like a peaceful country house with fresh air, Yoko's place will be perfect, me and my family really had a quiet rest there.

It was a great peaceful house with beautiful nature around. It has a good seaside road course to run or hike with slight slope. Breakfast which had prepared by Yuko's friend was nice and moderate. You can take a seaside train as the house is very near to the Sonogi station by car. You can try either of fresh whale sushi and wakyu which means Japanese premium beef bbq in restaurant near the house. If you plan a peaceful and healing travel in Kushu, Yuko's guesthouse will be a perfect choice.
